Am new to the game and bought a blue print that has a number 1 in the lower right corner for the fact that it is 1 unit.
What i don't understand is how to "assemble " it so that it is recognized by the factory. The other blue prints I have have no number in the lower right corner and are recognized for mfg. research and copying.
The flip side of this is, of course, when I copy a blue print and it is solid, how so I "prep" it to be sold on the market.
Thanks for the help.

You cannot repackage blueprints.
And to "assemble" the blueprint, right-click on it, choose one of the options, and get the game to generate a quote for you.

There are no copies on the market. Everything there is an original.
If you check escrow, it will show how many runs are left on an BPC.

Maybe I am bugged. When I right click on the Blue print with the number, I can select a factory for mfg, but no assembly lines show up. It is the same for copying, research. The blue prints that are copies work fine.
What am I doing wrong?

You may be at a station without a factory. Rare though. ---- EVE-Central.com | Obsidian Technologies - 0.0 Manufacturing, Defense and Logistics. We're hiring! Mail me |

Does the station you are in have a Factory/Research facility/Lab?
If not you cand find a nearby one with some factory slots by using eithher the map or the science and industry tab in station control planel.

The station has factories, research and copy. I can load any of the blank blue prints and work with them. But both of my blue prints that have the number in the lower right are not recognized by the factory. It has to be something simple that I am doing wrong.

I wonder if most of the respondents understand exactly what you're talking about.
I also have some blueprints that look like stackable items (the icon has a quantity of 1 in the lower right corner), but I haven't had need to use them in as long as I can recall - so I don't know if they work OK. - - - - - "Never offend people with style when you can offend them with substance." - Sam Brown |

Thanks Corunna, thats the issue. The Blue Prints look stackable. When you go to use them, they are not recognized by the factory.
What I am looking for is someone who can say how to use them.
I have all the skills.

Looking further into the matter, I see that I have successfully used such blueprints a couple of times recently.
About all I can suggest is to make sure they are in a top-level hangar instead of a container. Then just right-click on the bp and select "manufacture", and make sure you're designating the proper hangar when starting the run.
That should do it for you, if not then the requirements tab (where Bill of Materials is found) to see if you need a given skill to use the blueprint).
Might I ask, what blueprint is it? And what blueprints have you successfully used lately? Do you have other manufacturing runs in progress or waiting to be delivered? - - - - - "Never offend people with style when you can offend them with substance." - Sam Brown |

The issue is with the light plutonium s ammo BP and the light firefly F.o.f. missle. I have sucessfully run the lead light ammo BP, the Cal Shuttle BP, the Broadclaw missle BP and the 75mm light rail gun.
All of the BP's are in a hangar, not in a container and I tested the mfg by running the Broadclaw just to make sure the factory worked, which it did without a problem.
I will check the requirements on the BP tonight, just to make sure.

I also am not running any other BP in the factory as my limit is 3 total.
