I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for, there's nothing special to using cyno fields...
Pretty much any ship can fit a cyno field generator, the covert recon ships get a special bonus to them that decreases their fuel consumption and the duration of the field.
When you generate it, you're stuck where you are and have to wait until it disappears.
Members of your gang (I believe) with jump drive capability can jump to your cyno field provided it's within their jump range.
If you're in the cap ship and you want to jump, you get a list of active cyno fields within range, you just pick one and jump, assuming you have the necessary fuel in your hold. --- High quality pics of ALL EVE ships!

Oh okay - well I was thinking maybe you right click the cyno'd gang member and get an option on the menu - stuff like that.

Oh, well I wouldn't know about that, I don't fly cap ships, but I know it's nothing complicated. --- High quality pics of ALL EVE ships!

Yes, once the cyno field is created, you just right click on the person that created it and there is a "jump to" option just like warp to. Make sure you are already in the gang before the cyno is created or else the option won't appear if you join after it. |

* Make sure you've got enough Heavy Water (iirc) * Make sure you'r capital ships can reach the system you are in * Make sure the Cyno Field is NOT on autorepeat
Use this page to see what systems you need to be in, etc.

Its liquid ozone instead of heavy water - but all the other points are very valid ones.
Also do NOT assume you are invulnerable or unlockable when the Cyno is active - even if no one who knows you seems to be able to lock your ship as the field is up.
There are some ways obviously out there that make it possible to lock you even though a Cynofield is up and immobilizing you, though I have not worked out how to .
Until then I m only using cheap "throaway ships" to open a cyno rather than those very expensive force recon ships.

Varies between different capital ships, carriers have the longest range with about 13.5 lightyears max iirc. ----

The module uses 500 units of liquid ozone base. The cyno skill reduces the amount used by 50 units per level. So at level 1 you need 450 units to launch a cyno field. Level 2 400 units, and so on.

I believe that you can kill cyno gen ships with smartbombs, although if they're at a station obviously this is harder. It also doesn't break any existing locks, so if you were locked when you start it you can still be killed. Finally, you need to ensure that the cap ships are in the gang BEFORE you start the field, as anyone joining the gang once the field has been set off won't be able to use it - this includes if they disco, so it's best not to activate until you actually need to.
