Is it just me or does the battleship get tossed around alot more then the other ships when hit by missiles? i can hardly fight missile mobs cuz they can actualy control my ship with the missile blows if they want to!

Edited by: Darius Shakor on 15/09/2003 11:40:23 LOL, Actuallt I have notices that the larger the ship the more is seems to be affected by other objects in space like roids and stations.
Actually, when you think about it, they only bounce around as much as a frigate at their centre of gravity/pivot point. But since they are larger and longer, the visual effect is more pronounced. ------

yeah. Big ship = frequently stuck and relogging. Especially when exiting a station and hitting warp too early

The way battleships react when hit by a missile, frigates should be knocked clear into the next solar system.
I mean its like you want corporations to oblige each other like its sex or something. Pffft I would rather **** my enemy.- Rohann
Be careful out there. That other guy waiting in the queue for the gate MIGHT be a baby-munching frock-burner, YOU JUST DON'T KNOW!- Lallante |

"every reaction, has an equal and opposite reaction"
now imagine what would really happen to people using guns in space... :)
But i agree.. battleships are way over effected by missiles, its stupid. They also get badly affected by mining drones because the bump into you.. where as combat drones orbit you. so you could sit and a drop in point, surround people with mining drones as they load space.. then laugh as they cant warp away because their ship is forever trying to realign itself.
im sure Technolisa knows nothing about that though.

I see I'm the first to be able to slap you for that!
NOT TRUE hahaha *ADVANCED FLAAAMETORCH lvl 5*
omgomgomgomg WRONG!
It would not be true for energy weapons. Maybe hybrids. And defenitly Projectiles.
But hey.. even a slow ship moves 150m/s. And with the freaking mass it has. It is a lot of newton for a "small" bullet to screw with to get any noticable effect.
I agree that the missile bumping is stupid tho. Its an ownage feature since you get knocked around so much loosing aim * -"You know, we play the "good guys" right?
