How many capitals and super carriers perished along side the titans during this battle? There might as well be a littering of Dreadnaught and carrier wrecks amongst the Titan wrecks |

Numbers are a little over estimated in the OP:
EVE Online on Twitter wrote:EVE Online GÇÅ@EveOnline 4m
Still digesting numbers from the B-R5RB Bloodbath. Here's one database query you might like to have sooner: 59-16 #eveonline #tweetfleet
But it's still 76 Titans in < 24 hours of fighting... I think a monument should certainly be in order so it gets my vote. Fast Character Switching "XP Stylee" Undocking - More Routes Out of Station Here's my tear jar > |_| < Fill 'er up! |

Daandrah wrote:I think CCP should put a Titan Graveyard landmark in B-R5RB (Immensea) to commemorate the massive battle that took place over the 27th and 28th of January 2014 where over 100 Titans were lost.
Note: This battle is still ongoing.
What about a new player deployable structure? i.e. landmark. Something tells me that it could have a better reception than the ESS thing.

I demand CCP show us what it would look like with new wreck models. "CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"

It's an interesting idea. I think it wouldn't be that bad to have one memorial per year if there are a minimum number of supercaps that die in a single fight. It's only January people, you have 11 more months to beat the 90 odd titan/super deaths in one fight. |

I wasnt there, but what a way to kick off the second decade of eve than to have the biggest battle yet?
maybe it (the memorial!) look cool, and something the passerby can warp too and admire (possibly briefly as someone decloaks and kills them) |

Sure you can. You just examine what qualifies on a case-by-case basis. "CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"

With the new capital wrecks, it should be VERY pretty... Stargates aren't located within POS shields. The stargate itself and everyone around it is vulnerable to attack. So why is a Titan located within a POS shield when a Jump Portal is activated? The Titans should not be allowed complete safety! |

I love the idea of persistent Capital wrecks. Heck I'd make the effort to travel out to the system to just sightsee and snap a few pictures!!
I think it would be quite a tribute to both Eve and the players who participated. |

This was an idea i had in the first hours of the fight (i was there in my humble Domi) it needs to happen this is a huge event in EVE and its already being wondered if it will be topped in the future.
1 side note though if ccp could put more than just titans. The fight killed hundreds of Dreads and carriers and if at all possible make some dread and carrier wrecks on field to make it look more like a battlefield than just a the massive titan skeletons
Either way this needs to happen a huge day for eve a huge day for ccp and what a reminder that this game is still alive and breathing 10 years in
edit: added carriers to the death tole |

Landmarks should only be placed for major events. To my knowledge this is the first time a significant number of titans have died in a fight. 1 or 2 go down here and there, but I've never heard of anything like this happening. If it happens again then fine, toss another landmark up. It isn't like losing 70+ titans, nevermind all the supporting ships, is going to be a regular occurrence without some serious power creep in resource gathering (captial class strip miners or something). Fireworks and snowballs are great, but what I really want is a corpse launcher. |

Hey I just had another thought and figured I'd throw it out there...
The "monument" should not only include the shattered remains of all the Caps and Super Caps but all the frozen corpses of the pilots who were podded in the event! They too should be permanently floating there as well...
It would make quite a sight to behold!!
That, ladies and gentleman, is what Eve is all about!

This is entertaining mostly because, apparently, it happened on the one-year memorial of the battle in Asakai. |
