Hehe, that was an estimate. That's assuming I'm using mining upgrades, mining foreman links, implants and drones. Unfortunately for me, since I'm on high alert from gankers, my mining yield has dropped to about 13 million ISK every 1 hr 45 minutes (taking into account interruptions in mining flow). It sucks.

You should probably switch to a profession that makes you more than 7.5 million ISK per hour. In fact, I think you'd be a lot better off just buying a PLEX, because you're working for 30 cents an hour at that rate. Also, "reward" is not a very clear term either. For someone needing quick ISK and a lot of it, mining might not be very rewarding, but for someone just wanting to chill out a bit, chat with ally mates, planning skills/fits/events/..., watching some series etc., its quite a rewarding activity. If I mission, I usually fly L3 atm, one task takes me about 30 mins to finish (not rushing here either), afterwards I'm about 3 mil (+ LP, salvage stuff and named mods I kept) richer. Missions aren't much more challanging than mining, but require more attention. So, instead of doing mining and a lot of other stuff at once, I'm mostly just missioning. Basically, if you mine, your reward is ISK and having a good time while when missioning, your reward is only ISK (+standings/LP). So, for me, mining is less effort and more reward than missioning. I think it's a bit premature to define effort:reward as simple as time:ISK, especially in a sandbox such as Eve, where there are so many goals and playstyles. (Incursions and PvP are a different matter entirely (for me), but that'd be OT now^^)
