Can we go splits? I've next to nothing, and I'm willing to wait 2, 3, maybe even 4 days before I start shedding any tears over unexpected problems and downtime. If a couple of people are going to run home, the least they could do is leave their ball behind for the rest of us to play with.

Danitar they are doing a fine job? i play 14 bucks to play this game a month! And i cant play since two days. It doesnt interest me at all if this is difficult to create a game. I pay i want to play if this is not provided its logical to leave. I dont pay for testing phases or something. I pay for a solid game that must run 24 hours 7 days a week. If this is not the case i can understand people leaving !
Are we getting free gametime for this wreck?

I second that.
I am a noob and just lost a cruiser to a glitch. This sets me back big time. So if any of the people who are quitting could just fork a few isk to the "Cheyenne Shadowborn Eve Pledge Drive 2006" ...

Danmitar your the dream of every company.
I dont see that as crying what most people do here.
I buy a product and i want it to work. If i buy a car and all 4 wheels break of i will want my money back. No need to have invented the car myself or have built one myself. I dont understand your position. Im a paying customer and i pay for a correct working product. If it doesnt work i have the right to get my money back. And theres no point for me playing WOW. What you wanna say with this? EVE is a good game. But as we pay 14 bucks a month it MUST RUN. Thats our right as customers to get this. Example : Your mother Danitar gets a heart disease she must be operated. She dies. Adopting your position you go to the doctor and say hey man i know heart operatin is not easy next time try better perhaps? I would do the following: contact a laywer and proof the process as a patient should not die. But you say hey this is very difficult doing an operation why should not cry. As i sayed your the dream of every company but most here have some courage and want a correct product thats working. No need that we havent invented a game . That argument is just nuts.

Well, I don't mind having problems after patch. I kinda expect things to get a little better atleast after 2 or 3 days tho. Not really even worth playin.

THINK ABOUT IT.. --------------------------------------------------------- Again thank you CCP for a fine game and down time is NOT a problem for us mature players.... ---------------------------------------------------------
I don't complain about regular downtime. I DO complain about having the weirdest errors since the last patch, with one glitch that just costed me about 20% of my previous and hard earned noob cash, which equals several hours of doing incredibly boring level 1 agent missions, and with crafting loads of detailed bug reports and scrapping most because the error disappears but then it or something similar comes back the next half hour. Overall thats a significant time investment.
Details on loosing that cash in the form of a cruiser to what I am convinced is a glitch unless someone explains otherwise in the middle of this post: http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=303202
I see all kinds of weird things in Eve since the last patch and I feel friggin bad for convincing friends (for whom 20 bucks is a lot of money) to sign up some days ago. They have similar problems (no, its not my puter, and no, its not the game cache, and no its not my internet connection, because the game worked very fine until the patch came along). On the other hand, even now other friends of mine in different sectors have no problems at all.
So I suggest you hope that you will now and in the future be lucky enough to fall into the second category of people. Because otherwise, i.e. when you get to experience the same sh*t that I have seen the last two days, with constant login issues, crashes to desktop, "node disconnections", several times stuck in space, extreme lag etc then I am frankly not convinced you would continue making the kind of speeches you make at the moment.
Regards Shadowborn

The fact I cannot log in again only proves the point I made yesterday. I cancelled BOTH my accounts after playing for 10 months with all ups and even more downs from the side of CCP. I'm an IT manager in real-life myself and this is UNACCEPTABLE for any self-respecting company !

How bizarre. I've just started playing (well, used to back in 04) and with any decent patch, I expect bugs for a week or so. Patience.
