The strategic enhancement given by the command modules seems to be sufficient justification for calling this a relative of the logistics cruiser.
The use of said modules can be called a logistic bonus in itself.

Edited by: Ortu Konsinni on 18/02/2006 11:42:39 The skill tree is perfectly logical. Do the other HAC-like fleet command ships get bonuses from the Heavy Assault Cruiser or even the Assault Frigate skill? Do HACs get bonuses from the AF skill? Do Recon Ships get bonuses from the Covert Ops skill? -> No. These are just prerequisites. There's no reason why command ships should get bonuses from the Logistics skill.

He said "in this game". You're giving the general, broad definition, which is correct, but in EVE, the word "logistics" in the context of ships (and of this topic) refers to the "healer" ships. --- Ship Gallery Helpdesk from Hell |

The ingame definition is any kind if ship that does remote "buffing". That includes but is not exclusive to healing. Other things included are Sensor Links, Tracking Links, Remote ECCM and ofcource the Warfare Links that the ship in question have bonuses for.

but, the word logistics in this game generaly is used to mean that, Ant wasn't referring to in the context of ships, as is obvious by the quote in his post :p

Could be wrong I only trained Logistics to lvl 5 for it, but i think the prime bonus to the Matari Logistics ship is for Tracking Links, which don't seem to do much "healing"...well it does cure those pesky rat problems that often plague ships but, that doesn't count.

Yes the EOS hasa big drone bay but it doesnt have the drone damage bonus that the other drone carrier ships have. Which IMO is completly stupid. I was designed as a drone carrier it needs drone bonuses.....

Command ships werent made to be drone carriers, its role is already desided along with the other command ships. and it wont get a drone bonus because that has nothing to do with its current role, witch is not a drone carrier..

It's the only command ship that can also run a full rack of repair drones and replace them if it needs to.
