Today the 3rd part of an historical report regarding the battle of Vak'Atioth and the circumstances leading to this event was released. Hidden within its depths was the following bit of information;
Originally by: öThe Theodicy Archiveö ôHow did they take control of my ship,ö Viola asked, shivering as though freezing, but glistening with sweat. ôAnd those voices in my head, when they were talkingàI felt so violated by itàö
ôWe also have the technology to commandeer ships,ö Grious answered, placing his hand on her forehead. ôEmpire vesselsùsuch as the MinmatarÆs Rifter, for exampleùare not yet equipped to defend themselves from such attacks. But the EnheduanniÆs ability to remotely stimulate neural pathways assigned to the audio functions of a humanÆs brainàthat is science beyond our comprehension, at least for now.ö
ôBeyond your comprehension?ö asked Viola. ôYou Jovians are supposed to be the goddamn technical geniuses of our age!ö
ôThe technology of the Enheduanni is much more advanced than our own, Viola. They possess absolute mastery of quantum physics and particle science, and the telltale sign of their presence is non-linear teleportation.ö
ôWhat?ö Viola asked.
ôTransporting matter instantaneously across space without the use of wormholes, stargates, or jumpdrives,ö Grious answered. ôIt can be done, but not by us.ö
ôI donÆt care what you can or canÆt do,ö Viola pleaded, becoming desperate. ôI just want to understand those voices, Grious. What science gives them the ability to just invade my consciousness like that?ö
He paused before answering. ôA mutation.ö
Viola thought about his response for a moment, then found the JovianÆs pitch black eyes staring at hers. ôGriousàare the Enheduanni human?ö
ôNot anymore.ö
I find it shocking that the existence of a race more powerful then the Jovians, who are apparently in control of hundreds, thousands or possibly millions of sleeper agents was hidden from the general public by CONCORD as well as all Four of the main empires a highly disturbing matter.
A race capable of controlling everyone and everything, including the Jovians who have been running around playing god for god knows how longà
Surely I cannot be the only one shocked by this information, or the matter in which it was shared with the public... -------

Although we have our differences, Joshua, I share your concern.
Technology that even the Jovians do not comprehend - that both scares me and inspires me to find out more.
But that the Enheduanni have been hidden from us pod-pilots, the elite of society... to me suggests Jovian involvement.

((I'm fairly sure that many of the details in the Theodicy story are not/should not be common knowledge to our characters. It's more of a metagaming thing... anyone interested should probably head over to the OOC forums, they've got a thread going dicussing Chronicles and metagame knowledge)) _______________________

note the untimely demise of the 2nd jovian empire due to the deadly jovian disease caused by excessive meddling with their genetics. Perhaps in the last days of the 2nd jovian empire, they created the enheduanni? In their search for a cure, instead they created something far more powerful and dangerous? The serious lack of information reguarding the "mysterious jovian disease" that wiped out the Jove at the height of their power. All the remmnants of the 2nd jove empire that remain are now occupied by the angel cartel in Curse and for the most technologically advanced empire to date in the EVE galaxy to just have a handful of old stations remaining, requires more than just a simple excuse of "disease". Something else is being covered up under than explanation.

This reinforces what I had already heard awhile back. I was told of the Enheduanni's existence, but I regarded the evidence used to justify their existence as dubious.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and this is poignant information indeed.

For example while there are rumors Ishukone's CEO was once a gurista none of our characters are supposed to know it as a fact unless they have learned it in game. The same for this))

Interesting story, but as I understand it thats what many of the chronicles are, stories. Whether fact or fiction, its certainly a good read, but I wouldnt take it all too seriously. Even if it is true that there is a super-race out there that dwarfs even the Jovians in knowledge, I for one am not worried about it so long as this story remains as one. Its safest to always maintain a sceptical/rational mind when it comes to this sort of thing, even if that makes reality seem less interesting.

((Agreed. Specific events and words that were said and not said and secret conspiricies and what not are hardly going to be available word for word. Quoting them to prove points that would otherwise be left to speculation for the average population is not roleplay.)) ------

In a way the cloning and consience transfers we're finding commonplace is very much like necromancy. We get blow up every now and then, take alot more risks then a normal person would do because we have the garanty that we'll come back to live again.
