You can use the skill 'Advanced Drone Interfacing' which allows you an additional drone per level. It requires 'Drone' level V so you should be able to control 10 drones in total.

Nope, Adv Drone give 1 extra Drone Control Unit per level. They can only be fitted to carriers and motherships.

Wrong.
Advanced Drone Interfacing allows you to use one 'Drone Control Module' per level. These modules in turn allow one more drone each. They also use 25000+ MW, making them capital ship only mods. -- Originally by: Nyphur The irony is astounding. The sheer level of raw irony here is enough to iron my clothes for a year.

Incorrect. It only allows you to attach an extra drone control module, which you can only fit on certain Capital ships. Domi owners weep every time they think of this.

Can you still control extra drones with a Guardian Vexor?

No, you get a damage bonus with the Vexor though which makes up for only being able to control 5 drones.
You can still get the damage output of 15.
You can *only* control more than 5 drones by using the Drone Control module, which is Capital Ship only - Carriers or Motherships.

I have never really considered it but would you not be able to use this on a Battle Cruiser as well?

If you can make your battlecruiser handle the 75k (per module) powergrid requirement, then yeah.

Yep, the G-V retains its unique ability, making it an even more sought after vessel than it once was.
