Hi there. I recently decided to start a blog about Eve. It is written by a newbie and mostly it is for newbies. Vets are welcomed as long they don't start acting like douche-bags. If you want to have a good read(now and then) or have a chance to get some easy ISK(this Saturday the registrations for a 0.5 Billion ISK Prize Contest opens), give it a try at:
The Chronicles of a Eve Wanna Be PvP
To get of taste of it, below is an extras from my first post.
Quote:Hello Eve
Hi there, guys and girls. I know that most of you, or at least some of you, prefer to be called bad-ass PvPGÇÖers, care-bears or other names like that but let me call you guys and girls for now. Since we havenGÇÖt yet been properly introduced I would like to try to fix this by asking you to read this first. Assuming you did as asked, you have a rough idea about what my intentions are and you may be wondering how I came up with this GÇ£insert here whatever you find most appropriateGÇ¥ game-plan . First, a few words regarding how I see Eve: for me itGÇÖs a beautiful dark place where most nerds [Since I see myself as a "nerd wannabe" you shouldn't really make a case out of me calling you names]
like to pew, GǪ, pew pixels. Why? Because, of course, that itGÇÖs the most funniest thing one can do in his life these days. Ok, nobody is perfect, letGÇÖs move on.
...............................................
By the end of this week I will move Ritual Union in null-sec and start to have fun trying to PvP. Targets: other PvP players, not miners, not industrial ships. You know by now that IGÇÖm a newbie, I have zero PvP experience and Ritual Union is around a month old character(until the end of the contest the character sheet will remain public) but I do have a strong desire to finally get some real fun in this game.
I havenGÇÖt decided yet all the rules of the contest but what it is set in stone is this: all youGÇÖll have to do in order to win the 0.5 Billion ISK Prize is to have the best guess about the number of times I will lose my ship and my clone before I manage to kill someone.
...............................................
Thank you for your time.
Signed out, Ritual Union. If you're looking for a good read check out my new blog:

Bringing Solo Back is a good channel for that, although the moderation is harsh. And not in an amusing way. |

@ To all:
Taken from my blog, this is an extras from the Born to Die GÇô ISK Prize Contest today post.
Quote:Hello Eve. As promised, this post opens the registration process to the contest I announced a few days ago that I will hold on this blog. For those of you who canGÇÖt be bothered to read this, here itGÇÖs ultra-condensed version of it: IGÇÖm a two month old Eve player who decided to get into PvP with a one month old character and at the same time I thought to write a blog about Eve . The present ISK contest, where you have to guess how bad IGÇÖm going to be at PvP , helps me to promote this blog.Without any further ado let me introduce to you the contest under a Frequently Asked Questions format: [First, the golden question: How much ISK can I win?]The ISK exact amount of the prize depends on how many characters register to the contest:
- 1 Billion ISK if the number of characters registered is greater or equal to 100 ;
- 0.5 Billion ISK if the number of characters registered is between 30 and 99;
- there will be no prize if the number of characters registered is below 30;
[What do I have to do to win the prize?]
- Register to the contest by leaving a short comment which must contain: one of yours character name, number of ships and number of clones IGÇÖm going to lose before I manage to get a kill, number of real life days that will pass from the start of the contest until the end of it(the maximum is 14).
- The registration is free.
- Your guess, expressed in the comments area, will have the to be the best guess in order to win the prize.
[Wait, free registration? Free ISK, everybody run: it's a scam!]
- There is no scam, there is no catch. This is an honest blog marketing campaign that a new player with a new blog needs.
If you're interested to Win up to 1 Billion ISK go to The Chronicles of a Eve Wanna Be PvP and register to the contest. Don't forget to tell your friends about this. I'm a newbie, and you know that newbies don't have much to say about Eve, or have they? Read-áThe Chronicles of a Eve Wanna Be PvP-áto find out.
