Is anyone else having problems staying connected? All weekend, I've been getting 'connectiont to server lost' messages on both of my accounts.
Tried running a tracert a few times, and got these results :

Obviously there's a few big times in there - step6 in the first trace, step 7 in the second one and step 10 in the third, as well as the request timed out at step 9 in all three tests...
Anyone else having the same problems? For info, I'm in the uk, and my ISP is metronet - never had any problems with connection until this weekend.

Having intermittent problems again this evening - is no any one else having trouble staying connected?
Anybody got any ideas if this is purely down to traffic, or something more serious?

If you are getting thrown off regularly it would be usefull to post your location and your ISP.
There were some problems recently with some ISP's setting priority packet switching on their networks. It gave gaming packets low priority and as such blocked the port used by eve but allowed full net access to web pages. They did this to provide full speed browsing but it really messed up gaming with them to the extent that most people cant now. Ask your ISP if they use packet prioritization, if they do I would dump them as its a con to make it appear like they have more bandwidth than they do.
There have also been some "iffy" links to eve through some of the providers that link you to the eve servers. CCP did drop C&W a while ago due to massive problems with them, one of their routers kept dropping the packets from CCP and hence was the reason lots of people kept getting dropped. C&W refused to help as it did not affect web browsing so CCP pulled the plug.
If you are sure that its not your PC, try without any routers you use (try a direct connection), ask your ISP to check the route for you using the port for eve (most will assume its a web page problem and only test port 80) they should help you with your connection problems as that is why you pay them money.
Also keep an eye on the server stats. if one or 2 people are thrown off of the server it is unlikely to be a server problem. If 2 or 3 thousand get thrown then it probably is.
If your in the UK you can check a very usefull page for ADSL problems. http://www.metronet.co.uk/adsl/exchangeChecker Metronet keep this page updated with all BT's tickets to do with ADSL transfers and exchange problems. There are alot of exchanges that are now congested and dropping packets due to the upgrade from 512k to 2m adsl.
BTW for those in the UK I can reccomend Nildram for ADSL. They have bent over backwards when C&W caused me problems and since then I have had no difficulty with connections of several hours at a time.
