Edited by: Latta on 04/01/2006 10:46:28 It is with no trivial deliberation that Carbide Industries announces its withdrawal from the Firmus Ixion Alliance.
This announcement serves to state the facts about our departure and head off any rumors before they begin.
This is a decision that has been in the works within Carbide for many months now, and has nothing to do with the recent reinvigoration of FIX and SA's natural relationship nor any other recent FIX policies, elections, or diplomacy.
Being an old corp, Carbide has accummulated the natural cruft and overturning of leadership that most all corporations of any longevity accrue. We deliberated, considered, argued and finally decided that without a serious rethinking and restructuring of our corporation, that Carbide as an entity could effectively cease to exist altogether. That was a fate far more horrible than self-banishment to Empire. It is a relentless and unavoidable truth that has been moving towards us like a wall of water, we could only deny its inevitability for so long before it washed over us.
Carbide shall return, like a phoenix from the ashes; renewed, refocused, and reinvigorated with a solid core and bold leadership. When this occurs, we will be a worthy partner for an alliance and shall reapply at that time.
Until such time, we wish FIX, her allies, and her enemies good fights and good fun.
We shall return soon.
Latta CEO Carbide Industries

I do not wish to "omfgpwned" anyone. I just want to set some facts straight that seems to have eluded alternetavly been withheld from FIX "grunts". SA has, without any other allainces, in the last 24 hours alone killed more than 30 battleships in FIX space and lost 3. For some reason many or most of theese kills have not been posted on FIX killboards. As I said; my intention is not to be a ****er and dont read this as smack but, I think you guys are being lied to about the progress of this war. Anyway, I wish all FIXies gl and gf.

I havenĘt posted on these forums in a while now, maybe a quick post won't hurt.. ehe
The old fix that the coalition once engaged in a large fight was that same fix that engaged bob many moons ago is not the same fix of today. Sure FIX killed someoneĘs large POSą But truthfully what is going on behind the scenes? Allot of lossĘs to FIX and hardly any from the attackerą In EVE patience winĘs, Unfortunately we donĘt see a war with FIX the same BOB saw it, they used FIX for some really cool big fleet fightsą Lots of funą SA see it as a personal thing like CA vs SA but with some of the leaders in SA it goes a little bit deeper, We will live in Q until it is taken over and the Southern regions of Catch and Q will be reformatted into good alliances that know how to fight and have experienced leaders that know what there doing. FIX have this JCO system, and big words like COCĘs which I found out from Tadis was called ęChain of CommandĘ.
Clearly this new FIX alliance has never grasped the meaning of pickup your pitch fork and fight with what you got or become a leader to your people when the fight is there, a true leader logĘs on and fights the wars that lay before him, not make some silly forum post stating this is what will happen, I tried it I got flamed to crap for it why I donĘt like forums any more.
Myself and 5 MASS members lived in H74 a key system for FIX, 5 of us kept 30+ FIX docked until they had the courage to undock with maybe 10 BS for a HAC and a few frigatesą This is nothing to brag about but merely shows how long FIX have had it ęeasyĘ and they have taken what they have for granted, the moment they realized we were here to stay the smack began. Patience in EVE is what counts and discipline and team work.
With the support of SA corps we now live in Q where we intend to patiently remain until Q/Catch is captured even if it does take all Year, We have committed ourselves to this fight.
FIX is a good alliance, a shining example of how one should be run in EVE, it has been carefully setup with rules and regulations which ill take my hat off to, takes a long time to setup and allot of personal effort which is probably causing allot of conflict on these boards, but what truly is lacking is the experience needed to fight us, I saw the POS kill, sure who really of us cares but really to that person it probably is the first time he has done something in the game like that, when allot of us have done it many times along with much station ping pongĘs, BOB G SE ASCN 5 old collation corps, we all do it itĘs boring as hell, but to that poster itĘs a ōwowö thingą So bear that in mind ;)
We find this fun because itĘs not very challenging to us, G when we visited Fade on the other hand did put up some good fights, and when MASS lived in Q before we got many good fights, hell Mauxir got stuck in 9CG for 3 days because they launched those probes the moment they logged on and camped the gates =) but its not the same now.
Good luck FIX just understand SA has committed itself to this war, and we will continue to live in Q for a very long time or until you beat us out. I will make no promises but it should be clear to you now that these are our intentions.
*Personal Note* I really donĘt enjoy killing defenceless new players, there is no honour in it but it must be done. To those new players struggling in H74 I know you do out number us when you get organized but I respect you for trying.
