I am unable to get my weapon upgrade skill to work on them. Everything else work's fine. just the stab 1's do not. "Let us have faith that right makes right, and in that faith let us to the end dare to do our duty as we understand it."

Read the skill description again more carefully.

Then i have found a bug! because my basic, and my gauss 1 stabs get my weapon upgrade bonus to cpu usage. "Let us have faith that right makes right, and in that faith let us to the end dare to do our duty as we understand it."

Edited by: Ana Khouri on 19/08/2003 21:21:38 There is no bug...
Quote: Reduces the CPU needs of Weapon turrets by 5% per level of skill.
Can you *please* tell me where it implys that it reduces the cpu needs of weapon mods?? And it doesn't reduces the cpu need of gauss field balancers, too.

Once again i am amazed at the human capacity for understanding...
Let me guess...I am making this all up "Let us have faith that right makes right, and in that faith let us to the end dare to do our duty as we understand it."

*sigh* No, but you are making an error. Let me make it clear and simple.
Weapon and damage mod not equipped
Notice the cpu needs of the damage mod of 27 and that of the weapon 38.
Weapon and damage mod equipped
The weapon has now a cpu need of 32.3 (which is 38 * 0.85 which fits with the 15% reduction of weapon upgrades lvl3) and the cpu need of the mod (same one as you mentioned) is still 27.

I love it when 2 parites bicker just because they don't understand what eachother are talking about.
Ana: He's saying that his basic gyroscopes and such's CPU rates are being reduced by the skills, and wondering why his magnetic stabilizer I's aren't effected the same way.
colla: It's a bug that those other modules are having their CPU req's reduced in the first place. And I have a feeling that it's probably got a lot to do with the same issue that made the surgical strike bonus apply to them. Could be that they're misclassified as weapons somewhere on the server's database.
As far as the skill description states, the fact that any weapon upgrade modules are being effect would be the bug. Not that the magnetic field stabilizer I's aren't.
That doesn't mean the description can't change.

Never really used mods unter the "I"'s before, so thats possible. Thanks for the info, Zeidrich.
Oh, and colla tidet? Your civilized and nice way of discussing something has earned you two things: The membership in my pretty small kos list and a complaint for the mods because of personal attacks.

Oh please. Running crying to the mods because someone called you an idiot is beyond childish.
I heartily approve of putting people you dislike on your KoS list however. That's the real way to solve problems :)

Only if I accidently meet him - I certainly won't waste time on that.
Mods - well, it is in the rules. If they enforce others enthusiasticly they can as well enforce that one, too. And I personally find it like a slap in the face if you try to patiently explain something to someone and get that in response.
