Hi,
I've been looking in the forums but didn't find it. As, I want to go with industry and do create some T1 equipments, I would like to have a "contract" with some mining corp or people, whoever that can provide me with ores. So, u dont have to pay taxes, or spend time and regulate ore prices.
I'm looking for long term service. Prices also should be reasonable less then in the market. Otherwise I could go and buy them in the market.
P.S. Not so sure if its profitable to those who mine, just write here any ideas or any terms or prices that u've got.
Thanks |

Last time I have done that, the minimum minerals order was 6-10B.

As I mentioned, I'm starting.. so I can buy for 500mln for now. And I'm looking for long term service, so in future it definitely will go behind this 500mln. |

I'm taking a guess, that you are just starting out in industry, honestly, training into a trade character, will maximize your margins.
It's all good to get into industry etc, but at the end of the day if your taxes erode your margins, then you will lose isk.
Use the trade character to place multiple buy orders for the minerals, well ahead of your build schedule leave a good buffer so there's no time wasted in building.
That's the way forward for regular supply of minerals, not relying on players, in eve online iCandy -á- I have accidently swallowed some Scrabble tiles, my next **** could spell disaster! iCandy - HIgh Sec Corps |

Yeah u r right. I've been simply advised that its better to find some miners and get from them ores... After doing a little bit more research on this, I came out to idea, that better at the beginning to get all ores by myself (buy or mine) then in future go out with some other people. I think new miners would be glad to work with me, as most probably they don't have enough SP and standings to trade efficiently... (some ideas though)
Anyway.. either its going to work out or no, np for me. Thanks for advice

Since miners typically sell into buy orders where the buyer pays the sales tax and broker fee, there's absolutely nothing for the miner to gain by selling to a buyer below market. The only possible win win seems to be if the buyer and the miner split the difference, but in the end that's peanuts comparatively.

Your best bet is to contact miners who regularly mine the belts on your chosen build system. If you are using relatively small quantities then they may sell to you to avoid haulage costs. However you will probably still need to offer the buy rates at the local market hub as a minimum. |

Actually, Sales Tax is paid by the seller at the time of sale, a percentage of the proceeds of the sale. Whether the seller makes a standing sell order or sells to a standing buy order makes no difference to the Sales Tax paid.
A seller can avoid paying a Broker Fee by selling immediately to a standing buy order. |

There is some value in selling or buying ore via contracts, instead of the Market. If profit margins are tight (as I believe they are in the ore/mineral arena) then shaving off that 0.5% or however much it is, from a billion ISK-sized trade deal, might be worthwhile. |
