I'm a newish player trying to dip my toe in to manufacturing. I have a scourge light missile BPO and thought I'd start by researching PE and ME, but it turns out that all the ME slots have really long queue times and OH MAN I don't want to deal with that.
Are there any player run markets where I can browse/buy researched T1 BPOs? I don't want to have to haggle and track down each and every single one I want, especially since I don't necessarily know what I want :) If there was a single source I could do repeatable business with, with prices that are reasonably close to market, that would be great! |

1. Contracts 2. Sell/buy forums 3. There are people who will research for you if your willing to wait a bit.
You can probably find someone who would gather a bunch for you, but idk what they would charge. You'd probably have to end up checking prices for each bpo anyway to make sure your not ripped off. |

I am not aware of any organized market for preresearched BPOs. You can try looking on contracts. Check the sell order forum.
The eve wiki has a list of companies that specialize in blueprint research. Basically, you provide a BPO, pay a fee, and they do the research for you at a POS lab. Some of these may be out of date but I think at least a couple are still active. http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Shops_and_Services_List
Be aware that the coming goonswarm Caldari ice interdiction is likely to drive the price of research up. |

Just bear in mind that you will pay for research. You're extremely unlikely to get hold of a researched blueprint near NPC price (price that you pay for the unresearched blueprint). Why would someone buy a blueprint, spend time researching it and then sell for minimal profit.
A quick check on contracts shows a researched Scourge Light Missile BPO on contract for just under 14 million.
If that's too high, consider buying copies to start with, queueing that BPO up in a public lab slot and manufacturing off the copies while you wait.
p.s. You did run the numbers on that item and checked that it is indeed profitable to make given a reasonable ME and your skills? |

An alternate option:
Find a research slot in lowsec. Duck in in a frigate, and install it. return later.
Just check the map for recent kills, and recent ships in space. Steve Ronuken for CSM 9!-á I'm starting early :) Handy tools and an SDE conversion Twitter: @fuzzysteve on Twitter |

Indeed, that's pretty close to what I was thinking! I'm assuming that the prices quoted there are reasonable? They seem so to me, but I don't have a lot of experience. Again, I'm willing to trade some isk for convencience, as long as I'm not being entirely taken advantage of |

By "market price" I meant "reasonable price for buyer and seller, given the effort of researching" and not "price for a 0/0 unresearched NPC BPO".

I know I should do that in principal, but I'm just trying to get a feel for the process ATM to see if I enjoy it. The costs involved so far have been negligible. I suspect I'll have to devote some more SP to manufacturing efficiency before it's actually profitable, but I don't want to spend the time until I figure out if I want to actually do that. |

For what it's worth, in the region that I live in I can't make Scourge Light Missiles profitable, that's with perfect skills and perfect blueprint.
Always run the numbers before buying a BP. Some stuff's profitable even with low skills.

To run the numbers:

Generally worth double checking the prices (as they're not immune to manipulation) but it's generally pretty accurate. Steve Ronuken for CSM 9!-á I'm starting early :) Handy tools and an SDE conversion Twitter: @fuzzysteve on Twitter |

Yeah, fair point.
Grand, thanks! It looks like that doesn't factor in cost of renting the manufacturing slot though, right? |
