normally i would say the prophecy is fine, but getting a new model for the damnation/absolution would be pretty cool. |

Moa is perfect, please don't drastically change it CCP (or if you do, at least keep the asymmetry)
The only absolutely horrible looking ships in the game are the Imicus Osprey, Aeon and the Revenant. Griffin, Myrm, and Hyperion are sort of strange - looking, but nowhere near ugly like the aforementioned ships. |

Please don't change my Moa, it's beautiful. I love my Moa, you other races are jealous of it's beauty. =3
I'd actually consider flying a Prophecy if you got rid of it's beer-belly, though. It has the making for a majestic ship. Amarr ships should all look majestic, so some of their ships (like the Omen, get rid of the tumor) should be majestic to fit their lore. |

Bhaalgorn. The blood raider pattern looks strange on it, the turret count doesn't fit the hardpoints, and the bonuses don't fit the hull which usually gives RoF and gets faster in advanced versions. The Bhaalgorn actually takes a small step down in speed from the base Armageddon and goes EWAR. Really needs it's own model IMHO.
Scythe/Moa and variants.
Personally I think they could do a lot better with the Thrasher/Sabre as well. |

with you on the bhaalgorn, but the thrasher/sabre? 99% of players will say that's one of the better designed ships. |

Every ship I look at is like a Picasso, A work of art in it's own right.
But with flames and flashy lights, I think CCP got it perfect.
Even the Scorp is unsymmetrical if someone were to look close enough.
The new shaders really add a sense of depth.
I think the game really needs a "Pimp Ship"
Ludicrously expensive, and gold plated with a large aquarium as part of the hull, with live sharks, and neon lights that flash in time with music. Diamond encrusted windows and Carbon fibre surrounds.
A un-hittable sig radius and no top slots would make it very viable.
A Trillion ISK ship is all the game is missing.

I have to disagree about the Aeon. In the description it is mentioned that it acted as a mobile citadel. Being a carrier like that, I think it fits this role perfectly. I imagine a large city in the one half, churches, points of worship etc. And the other half the tactical fighter launcher. From a RP perspective, I think this ship was perfectly designed. |

Why the industrials? Wraeth and Mammoth both look realy cool. The Mammoth would work as heavy tanking platform too if you let it fit some guns ;). Why the hell can't I fitt capital repairs or shield booster on an Orca ... it's an CAPITAL ship! |

I find it funny that most people found the asymmetrical ships to be ugly. There is a known correlation between symmetry and beauty. Google it. Honestly though I think the ship designs should be left alone. I was annoyed when they made the scorpion more symmetrical. Being a player from 2003, I've learned to appreciate all the ship designs. Caldari are my favorite mainly do to their asymmetry. Who said all space ships need to be symmetrical? Bring back my scorpion! |

So all the ship graphic resources are located on the users machine right? Why not give the user access to their local graphics so they can take a graphic of their choosing and name it correctly and just drop it in their ship folder. Then when playing the game the users local view will have that skin stretched onto that ship. The server shouldn't care what graphics are being displayed to the local environment so long as it knows what ship it actually is. I would just take my current ship graphic and shift the color towards green and dump it back in so I can have a Green Battle Ship! Yes, I Am A n00b. Please don't hold it against me. |

Moa needs love, but the Osprey is fine to my eyes.
Scythe model is fine - focus more on the ship abilities plox.
The hoarder needs a redesign, it makes me feel depressed when I pull a Hoarder out of storage for some fuel run or something, but I'm pretty happy with the Wreathe.
I'll come right out and say the Talos sucks.
Most of the Gallente frigates look like pieces of dung, and I wouldn't miss any except the Maulus/keres hull and maybe the incursus.

So it takes me a few days of additional reading in the forums before I discover that EVE has a big NO-NO attached to user-end mods, so this idea of mine is no good. On the one hand nobody pointed this out to a new player so I had to discover it on my own, and on the other hand nobody ragged on me for being stupid either. Guess I should be happy about it. Because then you would be posting video and screen shots of your monstrosity on the intertubes which would ruin immersion for all of Eve's current and future playerbase. Duh.

It looks like they were halfway through with construction when they ran out of material, let it sit unpainted in the hangar until it rusted, then sold it anyway.
Nothing wrong with that. That's exactly how the Chinese got thier carrier |

Black ops need more love!!
I was crushed to find out, that after I trained for what I was lead to believe was 'the ultimate cloakie ship'-- Black ops can't warp cloaked. It killed my friends dreams when I told them.
Most ships have multiple uses, but black ops.... not so much. It would be fantastic if it could warp cloaked, and Im sure that this would greatly increase its popularity. |

I fly the Gila often and cannot say enough that the Moa SERIOUSLY needs to be redone. On top of that racial specific ships for guristas and the other knockoff pirate ships would be welcome as well.
The raven looks like a transformer with terminal cancer but I think its too iconic for CCP to concider really changing.
I have not seen the reaper mentioned here - I know its just a rookie ship but when I started this game the first ship I EVER saw was the horrid little reaper and though -- WTF is this -- then I got a burst and thought -- OK where the f#$%^ is the rest of it. Maybe this is why minmatar has the lowest percentage of toons.
Aside from the look of the reaper WHY is a great name like "REAPER" wasted on a ROOKIE ship??
There are a dozen or more ships that need attention and most have been mentioned here already. The new scorp looks alot better than old and the maller looks nice as well.
Side note --- WHY were the engines STOLEN off my CRANE?? GIVE THEM BACK ! ! ! ! !

The worst looking ship that has had little mention here, in my opinion, is the Rupture. There are two things with it that bugs me about its GGpirate-ship-shaped-nailgunGGV looks that bug me.:
First, the cockpit just seems to be in the wrong place even when compared to other Minmatar ships. It should be higher up towards the bow, rather than just sticking haphazardly out of the middle. Also the bow is too skinny.
Second, the pivot point of the model, where it rotates in space, is too low and forward. It always looks like it is falling over. The whole ship is horribly butt heavy looking and its movements seem unnatural.
As for an actual change, the area above the deck of the pirate ship part should have a sail like the Tempest, the bow should be wider and house the command capsule there, and the area under the main hull should look more like a keel., being narrower and shorter with the engines moved more to the sides.

I've actually come to appreciate the Moa, fits well with Caldari style. I think much higher priorities should be the tempest and raven. Machariel gun placement also could do with some work as for such an impressive ship the guns have been placed in a slapdash way that I find makes them look pathetic.
