From what I can tell, clone jumping SAVES the existing implants in your current "body" so that you can return to them later for mission running. Of course I still have 23 hours and some change to be absolutely certain of this, the clone screen shows that my original self still has all my old implants installed after clone jumping to a new clone. (on the test server of course)
What this does is free up ALOT of people that have very expensive implants plugged in to PVP now without fear of losing around a billion isk in implants.
This is VERY good.

Yes, it also totally turns alliancesw like mine into limitless gods.
We'll be able to afford clonejumping anywhere, anytime, to kill everyone we want, at low cost.

I agree
All alliances/corps have been faced with members unwilling to **** away weeks of effort getting nice implants to blob wars.
This has been LONG overdue. Altho making implants unpluggable would have been nice this more than suffices to fix this issue.
PVP in eve will become more widespread now... maybe...

so... you can 'switch' bodies ?
to one without implants or implant effects ? ____________ The cargo bay is overloaded and cannot be made to fit Expanded Cargohold I. It is currently only capable of fitting 8772.12 units and it is currently jammed full with 9558.33 units. |

Yup.
But only if the station you want the clone to be at is a corp that loves you and your corp very, very much (as in something like 8.0+ personal AND corp standings with the owning corp). There are limitations on feasibility but if it's at one of your own POS then yer sorted.

Just because you couldn't get a ship to do what you wanted doesn't mean it's a crap ship - it means you're a crap pilot of that ship.

Yup, and then use clonejump like we knew it before RMR to clone to anywhere you want (assuming you have stocked up offices in every possible region of Eve, like we do), at no cost or inconvenience other then the price of a clone.
Can you say hypermobility ganksquad ? _______________________________________________

I read "The clone has to be IDENTICAL to the initial" that should mean implants too.
---------------------------------------------------------
If not it's the biggest imballance ever. Even I (the most podded player in eve) will be hooking up implants.
Capsule ransoms will die too.

I reckon it means you need to have the identical clone, ie one that keeps the same skill points.
If you had to have the same implants in each clone it would be pointless introducing re-birth.

they offer big boosts with regards to skill progression, not to mention other benefits offered by tech II implants.
i find throwing millions of ISK of ship and mods into battle is a big enough risk for me, ask any HAC pilot about risk vs reward.

Attributes impants still stay in the main body, means while not in it you will train slower.

it changes nothing at all
just allows more blobs and bigger blobs
u need to have a personal AND CORP standing of 8 to jump into any station.
thus it is most likely that u will only be able to jump to 0.00 stations

ill just have my clones in 0.0 i dont mind travelling to my destination, its the fact i can jump into an empty clone without fear of loosing many millions in implants that i like.

This is another nail in the coffin to any corp that doesnt do aliances, doesnt own a outpost or a mothership. how in hells name are we supposed to benifit from this? 8.0 corp standing is so fricken high well have to grind out more missions for months.
Cheers.. well thought out CCP. NOT!!

Ill bet this will end up in alliances offering "standing passes" so that non-alliance members can use stations for this purpose, still wont help those that want to be able to jump around emp tho.

well technically yes, but if you wanted a quick trip into emp, (provided you have the standing) you could clone jump (for free) into emp, then clone jump (the traditional way) back into your implant-clone. Im also guessing you would have to stop your skills before you can do a jump into an implant-clone, or does it stop them automatically?

like has been said, this changes nothing at all
the only thing u can do is jump to motherships and titans
and from one 0.0 station to another 0.0 station
i mean very few people have 8.0 staing alone to a npc corp, and for a corp to have 8.0 to a npc corp its pushing it too far, i dont think any corp will do
but like some said, if u got 8.0 already, just make ur own corp and ur good to go
do u really want this ccp, hundreds of 1man corps??

I havent been on test server so heres a question.
Are these "new clones" available at any NPC station that i got a +8 standing with like Caldari Navy etc?

no
only at npc station that you have 8.0 and that ur corp has 8.0 too
so ur corp needs a high standing too

Hopefully CCP will see sense when they realise the only people benifiting from this is Aliances. The small-corp and solo-players have been shafted again.
Im not going to loose much sleep over it however.

yes it is, but its also stupid to ask for just 8.0 personal standing, i mean we are not all agent *****s
i dont think CCP wanted to see everyone jumping everywhere all the time
imo just limit it to once every 3 days and let ppl jump to any station with cloneing thingy

It looked to me that this was less about letting people ditch their implants and take a whirl around the universe, and more about letting an entire corp scattered across hte universe swap into the clone in their alliance's titan, hop in the ships in its bay, and rally to its defense, no matter where it is in relation to them.
Ditto motherships.
I predict we will see more use of this as it was intended, than as to swap around ot other areas that "uber" 1 time per 24 hours, when using their 8.0 standing npc corp.
