Eve has been unavailable for two days now and CCP have not even had the good grace to post any news as to why, or when it will be available.
What sort of customer service is that ?

today is patch time :) Red moon rising :) (was working earlier)
yesterday their was a database and network failure / problem....
Don't know the exact details, but hopefully that fills some of the blanks for you.

I've been fine, although the server went down not long ago for the red moon rising patch. The game has been pretty buggy the last couple weeks though, lots of disconnects, and at very inopportune moments, heh. It might be something on your end?

I didnt know it was going down either. Perhaps they needed to make it a little more obvious within the game

Its a huge job to make an update patch.
Everyone who has particapted in such projectwork knows that.
Hopefully the deployment of this patch will go with minimum of problems.
Then the wait is worthwhile.

im sorry ive never ever insulted anyone in a forum before...but your coming pretty close son.Goto the Doctors and then to the opticians..go get some contacts or glasses and READ THE DAMN GAME UPDATES AND PATCH NOTES.

Sometimes the news on the log in screen applies to you. You may want to take a moment to look at it before rushing into the game. I know that sounds like madness, but it could help you avoid a nasty suprise or two.

Learn to read?
If you try to start EVE while the patch is being deployed (ie. Now) then it tells you on Message Of the Day what is happening and why you can't connect.
If you mean you, like me, were still playing at 20:00 GMT yesterday evening when the server was taken down for the patch, then you, like me, would have received a warning message in game at 40 minutes, 15 minutes, and 5 minutes.
If you mean other random server crashes and disconnects, CCP can hardly be expected to warn us in advance of the unexpected can they?

tbh I've seen little else but praise for the communication between devs and players, patch work ran over by 6 hours, hope you got a t2 bpo as compensation!
