Originally by: Solwolf Good luck Xanadu, you'll be missed.
Might as well bring up one of my strongest memories of Xanadu. It was long ago. My CEO, feroci0us, wasn't available to attend the FA Council meeting so he asked me to go, more like twisted my arm. The FA Council meetings at that time had a history of going on for hours and hours. The meeting started with Grim, the Xanadu representative, stating, "Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you a coup d'etat." Then he breifly outlined the forceable restructuring of the Fountain Alliance. It had to be one of the shortest, if not the shortest, FA Council meetings in history. It was a hard time then, but I look back on it fondly now.
Anyway good luck Xanadu.
LOL that was EVEMs 1st one :o

sas grim fg zip congrats on all of the above
you might think of this as a bad point or a good point but i know myself and alot of atuk and bizarre wouldnt have achieved what we have in eve without coming from a corp like xanadu.

sad to see you go, xanadu was indeed a great corp back in the days and I second what stan said about that alot of us would not have achieved what we have, had it not been for xanadu.
Good luck to you guys in your next game(s)

Sad day for entire EVE community!
You can like them or hate them, but they are the only corporation that had everything and achieved everything in game in their time.
But considering value of Xanadu community members, that is not surprising. Great members led by true masterminds were indeed a win-win combination!
4S Community is very thankful for the opportunity to have Xanadu Community as friends and allies. We won't ever forget the good times we had together.
I have no doubts that we will meet and play together again in some other game though, until then we will cyber each others on IRC.
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience. |

Ah that was a fun day indeed! After we had ironed out the plans on the Xanadu Summit in Vienna, this was one of the most thrilling days!

Edited by: Man Upright on 22/11/2005 15:56:57 Edited by: Man Upright on 22/11/2005 15:55:30 Xanadu to me is one of the corps that made Eve what it was when it was becoming what it is now.
A great organization. I really hope that someday all of its original members return here with each other again, or at least just return to Eve.
At the very least, Xanadu deserves a top spot in the archives of Eve's rich and deep history, as pioneers of Eve politics.
I'll miss seeing 250 members when I do a show info, it just doesn't seem right with less than 50. also, i had personally had a lot of fun in Xanadu. i loved the people, and the lifelike corporation structure.
bye sastul and xan. and tell niwaie that i love him.
