I never saw the Xelas member count get higher than about 700 so you're off by a long way. As for Xelas internal issues about why some pilots/corps left. Thats a Xelas internal matter and should make no difference to a pilot not in any of the factions involved.
Last time I checked we had no conflict with the State War Academy.
As for "taking the heat from FA / VC" we have had a few good fights over the last few days some losses on both sides ( thanks MECHCore I really liked that Jaguar ) and the chat in local has been minimal and not too bad from either side.
Have Fun all and see ya in game.

My corporation was a member of Xe'Las before their drop in numbers so I'm in a position to give an answer to this question.
Before the VC war and the migration to Empire, Xe'Las had about 1000-1200 members; although I never saw more than 90-130 in alliance chat at any one time. A large proportion of alliance members were Euro-based, although ANZAC Alliance (an australian corporation - dead sound) was pretty active and fairly large, so we had a large showing from the aussies.
The reason for the big drop was a decision by Cochise to kick corps whose CEOs he believed were not being co-operative. My corp left because we had already decided to leave due to problems we were having with the way Xe'Las was being run; your basic politics problems. It might be supposed that the drop is due, in part, to the VC war; *****s showing up due to applied pressure. However, it has to be said that no corp voluntarily left while the war was being waged; we all moved into Aridia and fought.

We never had 1,200 members but I am not surprised that you canÆt count. VC generally canÆt add, subtract, spell or fight for that matter.
Xelas is doing great. We made a choice to split from some of the Corps that were not quite into the swing of doing things our way is all. It was a common sense type of thing and I am sure VC would not understand that.
So overall while VC Scum is hiding in safe spots making up silly Fraps we are killing VC. When we can find them that is.
So there you go, the official answer to the stupid question.
Oh and btw we are not leaving Fountain so you guys are wasting your time. Nothing you do, say or attempt will change this. Not even your faked videos with the misspelled words and 2nd grade grammar although that is quite painful.
Have a nice day !!

To answer the other silly question here:
We in Xelas donÆt post very often because quite frankly it is against policy. We see very few threads in these forums worth the time, energy or effort to reply to. We would rather spend that time killing enemies and making Isk.
And yes I am a US based player and I do work for a living and yes it is now Eve time and yes I answered the stupid questions officially.
So in the future donÆt wonder why we donÆt reply, because now you know.
Thanks to the BoB guys for their support and back up. You guys are the best!

You Sir cannot count any better than you can lead. You were not in Xelas long enough to say or know anything. YouÆre just a sore looser because we made you go away.

Once again sir, its a universal conspiracy against your ego. As said before, mining quota is yet not fulfilled. Mine for your food and shelter. Thank you oh great BoB for preserving his kind from extinction.
Oh and about the question about if they are USbased or Eurobased. Last I remember they were ISKbased. They believe that honor does not come cheap. They have set a high iskprice... Still trying...

Cochise - you suck at telling truths, you know that?
Empire war: The occasional 10-15 man tech 1 gang that moved out of Zinkon/Hier usually ran like crazy as soon as you got scouted.
Fountain: I've been in a couple of small nice fights, I dont think I can remember a single one where you stayed though. Not the time we (8 bs 2-3 support) warped in your gatecamp (6-7 bubbles 6 bs 7-8 support), either. When you lost all your bs (no not due to bubbles), and all support but 1-2.
It's been a lot less of us since Bob came back to core, thats for sure. I dont remember seeing any camps by you the past days though, you ss just as good as we do. Most entities tend to ss when they are outnumbered 4:1 in local.
I hate myself for making this reply tbh.
But you just suck ******* ass.
PS. Funny that you call Beagle corp names, thats one of the few corps i remmeber from empire. So how do you feel about BSI living in ark-land aka pxf? ___________________________ Chicks dig Brutor's |

Edited by: MilkMonkeyMan on 26/10/2005 21:12:32 Edited by: MilkMonkeyMan on 26/10/2005 21:09:15 Fact: Xelas alliance was created to serve S.A.S as industrial counterparts to supply them with ships and modules. Xelas also 'hires' a merc corp known as Immunity that is infact really a S.A.S isk making corp that fake mercs on many S.A.S alt corps. Their 'wars' purge all unworthy S.A.S members from the alt corps while leaving the worthy members left in the corps.
They've had a subtle role in their recent S.A.S activities.

These are Xelas's numbers, as gleaned from the Handy Dandy Alliance tracker in game.
Aug 16,2005 = 524 Xelas members Aug 25,2005 = 526 Xelas members Oct 12,2005 = 607 Xelas members Oct 25,2005 = 300 Xelas members
August 16 is close to the time when the ceasefire between PA and Xelas was in effect.
Yea, They lost about 226 members in two months (between Aug 25 and Oct 25).
The reason why I recorded these numbers is because I figured that Xelas would be run aground by their cruel taskmasters in BoB, who would make them mine veldspar and pod them for kicks and giggles. Apparently, my prediction didn't occur. However it seems that something is running them into the ground now. What it is? I don't have enough information to speculate.

This Thread is pretty funny. . . Xelas no matter where it goes winds up here as a major topic of discussion because we spend more time in the game sticking to the business at hand...
Why do we see more posts from bob.. than xelas?.. well . . . let me enlighten you . .
Bob are the kind of people you want as friends in game .. not because of power . . (I mean Xelas is pretty much left to their own business and to do what they do to keep the Alliance running smooth and what most Alliances do..) the reason Bob are good to know is simply because what they say they mean .. and if they say they have your back ... count on it .. they do!!! We do not have to agree with everything they do .. long live the differences..
Turiya.. once again in forums you have stepped in it . . . you did in xelas forums and now u are doing it in public.. Your post on the numbers in the alliance only solidifies why the executive committee selected your corp as one of the corps to leave .. you just did not participate.. what can I say..
Invisible Touch .. and OMG IT IS THE ALL KNOWING OCC .. WHAAAAAAA HAHAHAHA . .the PA still do not get it . . .they never will . . I spent half an hour last night in PA space and it is still unimproved .. and a relief that I no longer represent PA..
BioMass come on .. lol .. you guys are the master of flame whoring .. give it up.
VC you actually provided one of the most boring wars we have ever experienced.
Oh MilkMonkeyMan .. have you been dipping into the sauce or something??

This could make those thinking about kissing BoB's bottom think twice about their choice. Be allied with BoB == be alone.
i think bizarre summed it up pretty well in that topic about "important ppl" where he named only molle, galavet and blacklight and stated all others r tools. that explains it pretty well imho...

As per usual Co, you're a big talker but can't back up a word of it. I can't lead? I don't know where the hell you got that idea from; my guys and me were some of the main players in your ridiculous war against VC before you made the ingenious decision of kicking out half your forces during the fight. I'm not going to bother dealing with my corp's exit from Xe'Las, we would have left anyway whether you'd kicked us or not. We might not have been in XS long enough to 'say or know anything' but we managed to make a mark on the killboards nonetheless; 4 entries in the all-time top 100 in just 3 weeks. More activity than most of the core corps that you decided to retain could be bothered to commit. You're not really in a position to comment on my performance in any case; I didn't see you in a single defense gang from the moment we joined.
My members have a problem following nonsensical orders like deploying all of our forces in Empire when there's nothing there to protect and no strategic advantage, then declaring war against FA because of some outright false concerns regarding overview issues. More than 2 minutes of research could have saved you a few hundred million ISK, but hey; what's the problem with that when you can recoup it using donations from the corps you were about to kick? Didn't take us long to figure out that there was no point in sticking around on the boat when the Captain thinks he's immortal and decides the ship will survive if he plows it into the rocks. The fact that you'd have the audacity to pin the blame on the deck-hands/CEOs afterwards just sealed the deal. That analogy was a little more elaborate than I'd first intended but there you go; it fits.
Our last 'meeting' was the clincher though; you had the stones to come in and hold the threat of your resignation over everyone's heads to get what you wanted. That was quite a piece of work; I'd shake your hand but I'd be afraid of losing my watch in the process. Good luck to Xe'Las; it'll need it.
