Pre ordered on August 23. Still waiting in Southern California. Getting ready to ask for another to be sent or a refund. Pretty lame. :(

I received my copy today in New York City.
I am impressed. The cover and pages are of good quality stock. Too bad there is an Alienware ad
Now it's time to read it...

Okay, I'd say we can all say it is reasonable for a first time magazine to have a few bumps and scraps on the first run and delivery. That's reasonable, but what is also reasonable is that they quickly do something about their mistakes and make things right with customers. Something that clearly hasn't happened with E-ON's distribution.
I preordered mine on the 23rd of August as well. Did someone delete the preorder files? As it seems there is a trend of late buyers getting thier copies before others. You'd think those who showed interest first and preordered would have them in a timely fastion, yet here I sit 20 days after the supposed ship date and no magazine. So, who do I need to call. No email addresses please, I want a number for someone at CCP that I can call to find out what is going on and where my order is. It's not an unreasonable request, as I am at 3 weeks of waiting and the only thing I have to show for it is an increasing sense of annoynce and the phrase "it's on the way" ringing in my ears. Did the plane crash? Did the boat sink? What airmail takes 3 weekes to deliver? Should I order one now and get it in a few days and cancel the preorder? So please, a number with a real live human voice on the other end would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Could you include the date you ordered in all posts?
Myself: September 2, 2005.
Makula - thanks for ordering, and I'm sorry that your magazine has not yet arrived, but please do not begin, or spread, such unfounded rumours - it is really not terribly helpful to anyone. ALL pre-orders were shipped, as I have said before, on 3rd October. I accept that it is taking an unreasonable amount of time for a (very) few magazines to reach their destination, but as you can understand there is nothing we can do to speed up their arrival since we have no control over national or local postal systems.

Well, its the 25th October today. I pre-ordered and it still has not turned up
I live in CT, USA and can testify to the varibaility of the US postal service. If CCP could negotiate something a little better for future copies, it would be appreciated.

I don't know about the rumor aspects of this, but it certainly seems a clear cut trend that people who ordered after the release of the magazine recieve thiers within days, while those who preordered, and stand over at over 20 days of waiting, have not.
Please Xicon, I understand it's not your fault personally and I am not directing any anger at you personally, however; the line of there is nothing that can be done is rubbish. There are things that can be done. Send out new copies to those that haven't recieved one yet and send them via express courier. If it's a few as CCP continues to state, then CCP will not be wasting much, and you'll be going a long way towards re-establishing good will with your customers. Sure some may wind up with two issues as a result, but after 3 weeks of waiting, that should be the lease of your concerns. Give refunds to those that want them. (I however do not, just want the magazine in a timely fashion)
Additionally, you could make a E-on section of the website and everyone who ordered a copy could be mailed the password to it. Then I can at least read what I paid for while I wait, even print it out. I paid, upfront and preordered. Part of that was to insure I got my magazine quickly so I could enjoy it. Waiting over 3 weeks was not part of that equation.
You must understand, the reason why so many are angry is because we enjoy the game and the things related to it. Also of note, a big sell of the magazine was finding things out first, like titans, strategies, reviews, etc.. Those of use who were waiting 2 weeks or more have lost out on that concept entirely.
There are things you can do, time to start doing them.

We are truly sorry that you have not yet received your magazines. If you have not yet received, please email your order number (as appears on your confirmatory email) together with your name and address to [email protected]. It will be sorted. And we won't be using again the mailing house we used, promising us an efficient service. We are now in advanced stages of negotiation with a major, reputable express shipping company to ensure the magazine reaches the intended recipient in timely fashion. Everyone knows that sometimes the mail system can go wrong. I accept that the length of time you have had to wait is beyond the reasonable.
At this point I call on all E-ON buyers to be honest. If you have had your magazine, then you will understand the frustration from those who haven't. Please don't attempt to dishonestly gain another copy. Thanks. Publisher, E-ON http://www.eve-online.com/eon/ Issue #001 still available |

And, I don't have my email because I trashed it. Is there a way to have the email resent or check the order number online in some fashion? It looks like LA got theirs nearly 2 weeks ago, and I did not.

Pre-ordered mine (I think it was early September) and it arrived today. I'm in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC. I was getting worried, but I have to say that the wait was well worth it. This magazine is gorgeous, glossy and the ink is vibrant. Excellent production standards. Can't wait to dive into the articles. A cursory first-glance looks like the topics are very interesting.
