Edited by: Olleg on 16/09/2005 07:52:01 IMHO better will be reload by ctrl+left click. Thus I'll can reload exactly what I want quickly. Also will be better if I can by shift/alt+left click change type of ammo. I use two type ammo for shield/armor, so two keyboard macros will be enough.

/signed/ Option to Reload all weapons (different for turrents and missile launchers) + I would love to be able to change ammo type while reloading. Sometimes when I runout of ammo I want to change the type and I can't do that without next reload period :/
so far I stop shooting at 1 last shell and changing...
Option to reload all to one kind would be great too

Nice idea :)
I'd also suggest some kind of button that would activate several turrets at the same time... well ok that's somewhat less useful but it could save some turrets misses or some other stuff _________________________________________

also since i'm an amarr pilot could crystals always stack automatically in invintory unless separeted. its really easy to change crystals when they are in a stack but if im switching back and forth between crystals during a fight they sometimes get stuck and two different guns try and load the same crystal and the crystal just dissapears.
it would just be nice if they always auto stacked in invintory when being unloaded from your guns so that one could avoid the dissapearing crystal error.

Theres no doubt that reloading is a pain, and we definetly should be abe to reload all guns at once and activate/deactivate them all at once. Heres my idea:-
Make modules linkable, so you put your scrambler+webber+painter+8 guns into the same group [like you can with drones], then as soon as you click one of the modules in that group [doesnt matter which one] it activates/deactivates the whole group. Rightclicking on a module in the group would bring up a menu containing; activate just this module, remove module from group, reload group [depending on turrets chargetypes it would also show a list of ammo types like we get now, -including booster charges- which would reload the guns that use that ammo].
An obvious issue is that modules take a different amount of time to complete a cycle, so while your turrets are maybe 3 seconds, your painter is 10 seconds. The righclick [or possibly shift-click?] option would activate any modules that need to be caught up.
I could go on, but people probably get the idea. .................

This would also help balance out lasers just a bit more since they have no reload at all. Hmmmm......Freighters, cant wait. |
