Yes, I understand that the drake isnt instant damage, but it also doesnt take cap and gets additional utility against small ships at short range.
Im still confused as to where the HML is deficient . . . |

Its not an all in one weapons solution anymore.
Missile spammers got used to not picking our sr or lr weapons before heading out and living with the choice till dead, carrier refit swap, or they came home. Now they lost that option for the most part, in their minds anyway.
CN ammo still looks good in the launchers. Its not arty muninn spam of doom....but if arty muninn fails to kill something and it gets nice and close and fast even its tracking bonus can be lacking.
Now I have fun time in drakes with tacklers whose back was slow to arrive or they bit off more than they can chew. yeah hml hits like crap...but it hits. Scared a few tacklers that way for the gtfo....guess they didn't want the tackle bad enough to go into hull. Gun side, I know ccp fixed 0 m tracking fail bug along time ago but someone neglected to tell most caldari rail boats that lol. For those who missed the fun basically you closed on a ship to 0 m and it could not hit you since tracking went epic buggy and did not track at all. |
