Dear Sirs,
We are writing to you on behalf of 600 Russian-speaking EVE-Online players; we are writing on behalf of an in-game alliance called "Red Alliance".
It saddens us to inform you that we seriously suspect a breach of EULA on your company's behalf. In more detail, we believe (and have proof) that some of the game support staff ("GMs") are directly helping certain players by affecting the server cluster. We would like to point-out that these are not technical difficulties or instability issues (which we have had, have, will have, and of course accept as part of the development process), but a direct interference from GMs.
Here are the list of (in-game) issues that we have noticed during the past 2 weeks:
1. Sovereignty has been lost in F-EM and M53 systems, although on many occasions Red Alliance had more POSs set up than the enemy. After filing an in-game petition asking to resolve this issue, the reply was that "GM's will not interfere in in-game matters".
2. Fuel and ammunition have "disappeared" from fully loaded POSs. Multiple petitions have been filed, none were answered.
3. The enemy synchronously attacking the POSs after the disappearance of the ammo. Either an exploit or an obvious interference from GM. Petitions ignored.
4. After general instability issues in there was lost of the ships in Cache Region. The support has acknowledged the problem, but ignored reimbursement requests.
5. Recent petition / reimbursement requests have been bluntly ignored.
6. At 23.072005 as the enemy was approaching Cache, and we were ready for them; the entire Cache region became blocked, effectively logging us out of the game. Those of us in other regions have asked for help from support, with no avail.
7. On 24.07.2005 our claim on system F-EM4Q dissapeared, even if we have at the moment 3! POS'es online and enemy have 1 offline. And making situation even worse, system is shown on a map as claimed by The Five Alliance.
As such we can only conclude, that either:
a) CCP is having serious technical issues b) CCP support staff (one or more GMs) are helping the enemies of Red Alliance. We do have information and name of the GM who is playing for ATUK, available on request to CCP CEO or CO-CEO.
Awaiting your prompt response and clarification to this issue;
Best regards,
RED ALLIANCE players.

You have to be kidding right?

The Five have had the similar problem the other way around just as much as you.

Spys possibly?
Originally by: nync 4. After general instability issues in there was lost of the ships in Cache Region. The support has acknowledged the problem, but ignored reimbursement requests.
Dont understand how you lost them so no comment.
Originally by: nync 5. Recent petition / reimbursement requests have been bluntly ignored.
The petition system is under a lot of stress and its in the news center that response can take 6+ days.
Originally by: nync 6. At 23.072005 as the enemy was approaching Cache, and we were ready for them; the entire Cache region became blocked, effectively logging us out of the game. Those of us in other regions have asked for help from support, with no avail.
This weekend the whole of Eve has been stuck half the time not just you.

Again the Five have had similar problems with this.

Its not been a good week for ccp for sure, people have been stuck, bugs have come up and server has been down. The Five have had just as much problems as you and we have been just as annoyed as you. So dont jump to conclusions that to be honest just make you look foolish. ----- Eris Discordia; I think the proper term is <3

is this some kind of weird joke?
I dont find it funny. Its been pretty good and honourable up till now. This is sad and I'm guessing this thread wont stay open for long...
Lag is a two way street. It affects us just as much as you. Sovereignity is just as bugged for us as it is for you.
But naming and shaming GM's thinking they work for us is just... over the top.
Do you really think that we have the entire GM staff working 23/7 for us?
This is even better than when EVOL was accused for using lame nodes
get a grip guys... or are you getting broke perhaps?

Those are some very serious allegations, contacting CCP directly rather than an open letter probably would have been a better idea guys as without incontrovertible proof (and i cannie see any there in your letter) you are just making things worse.
GM's are PAID EMPLOYEES. You honestly think they'll risk their jobs?
I'd advise taking the letter down and contacting keiron and Oveur directly with your misgivings.

Guys, i have the utmost respect for you, but you should seriously delete this post.
The fact that you don't get your ship replaced doesn't make someone an ATUK GM......
Oh so now if we respond quick to a thread that's about us controlling the eve DEV and GM team, the story you put out has to be true?

for someone to come out with these sort of accusations against ccp you really have to be ****ed about something. Do you really think that you as an alliance AND as a single player are the only ones having these sort of problems?, if you do then you couldnt be more wrong.
I know for a face that the server problems have also SAVED your systems from being captured. I have also been caught up in these problems, mainly friday night where a whole .5. fleet got stuck on the way to cache to attack you guys. We ALL had to log out and stay logged out untill the next DT, which was 16 hours later. 5 ATUK

The guy is making clear valid points and has typed his post out fairly clearly, but for some reason [5] has become untouchable on the forums cause as soon has someone has a bad thing to say the thread gets locked. So saying that il give this thread at least one page before it disapears like ur fuel and ammo.

No really, as a neutral, the first things I thought after reading the open letter was what was in the first response from a [5] member. There was no proof in it at all.
It's not beyond the realms of possibility that a GM is a bit corrrupt, it happened in EnB, but It wasn't as blatant as what you are suggesting. ----------------------- Honor and Serve!

We can't contact CCP, because on all our petitions and emails to CCP we don't get any reply or are answered by one of the GM's. to HAST: I do enjoy fighting u , respect 4 all teh good fights, but I HATE this staff happening with POS'es. My last in game petition was on 2005.07.18 . No reply till now.

In seriousness - I can understand how it seems that there is GM/Dev bias going on here.
However, all of the things you have listed have also happened to us. They are bugs with the game at the moment. --------

Its called being on the forums at the right time :p. Its also because i replyed at first to this thread which was posted in the wrong forum a good 15min before this thread was created. I responded there then just copyed and pasted into this one. The content of my post didnt take too long to think thru either .
Or
Maybe im a GM who can see into the future and pre-write my forum posts? ----- Eris Discordia; I think the proper term is <3

You guys are crazy. Fact is that POS's are broken atm, only last week were V alliance and M.Corp able to tear down fully functioning and on-line Foundation POS's with no problem.
The POS's are broken, but don't expect in-game enemies to leave them alone just because of that. It's CCP's responsibility to fix the problem, and if you cannot rely on them to get the job done then play safe and take down the POS's so you don't go loosing billions of isk.
As for GM's within corps aiding our cause... that's simply ridiculous.
