I am viewing daily the forums and something in the Sell section notices me. Some people give out hundereds of billions of isk each week on T2 bpo's, ships and even corpses. Ridicules high spenders.
In the battle against bots, it makes me wonder how some people can spend 4 trillion isk in 3 months (Example) . Is CCP also investageting this in the battle against bots?
I can conclude that they follow the isk generated and ban people accourding but why not search the other way around? Find the big spenders (free isk makes you spend alot), and trace the isk to its source and ban the **** out of it? |

So some people are good at making isk and that makes them botters?
You know that once you have isk making more is pretty easy right? Some of the top market traders push insane amounts of money around the markets daily.
I can also see someone buying up T2 BPOs being a tactical thing as well as an investment thing.
Less bpo's on the market = less supply = higher prices Wait for prices to rise, sell bpo\start churning out t2 mods. |

So it couldn't possibly be plex sales right? I'm sure CCP already does this, after all they have the database amnd can follow the iskfrom faucet to sink to a third party. Botting is a problem in eve, yes. People that have alot of isk aren't all botters, so chasing after the rich to ban botters is a terrible idea.
Many botters are RMT'ers and aren't all that ISK rich since the ISK is usually either laundered or sold to RMT companies after it is farmed.
I could buy a T2 bpo myself right now if I chose to, but I won't for many reasons that I won't start listing off in this thread. Should CCP be banning me for botting because I have that wealth? Probably not, since I dont' bot. |

4T in 3 months is not really that far above average. |

Think about how a free to play game can make millions on a cash shop where the majority of people aren't spending large sums of money on a regular basis.
Or how about Entropia universe were people spend tens of thousands of dollars to buy virtual land.
Some people have more money than brains. And some people have a lot of both.
But mostly it's the first. |

I wouldn't call 4t in 3 months average. It would make sense to look at high volume wallets. They don't necessarily have to be cheating to get that much, but it's not unimaginable that they may be cheating. Watching would do no harm. If someone craps in your sandbox: 1. Light it on fire 2. Grab your shovel 3. Throw it back at them. |

4b/month is not that hard for some dualboxers running Forsaken Hubs. It takes some significant play time/day though. |

most bulk buyers are fronts for corporations... i sell between 50 and 100 bc/hac hulls a month to some dude on an NPC corp who's 4 months old.
i know the money isn't his... and i don't want to know where those hulls go, and i'm sure whoever they are using them against would love to know who's doing the day trading for them.... so i appreciate the discretion. :D
also, profits are percentual, on eve and on real life. just because you are space hobo with employee mentality doesn't mean everyone else does the same. build capital, and invest, stop living day to day. |

I can tell who that person really is by their bounty. 444,444 anyone who plays the market in Jita recognizes the 444,444,444.44 orders. That person is not a botter but a very powerful member of a very powerful organization. Not all is as it seems. :tinfoil:

Wealth isn't a sign of being a botter. I could comfortably make 150 Bil a month, probably more. The main reason I don't is because I can't be bothered with the stress and mind numbing bordum of it all. Wealth in eve is usually just a sign of being able to endure what others won't (Or cross moral lines others won't) |

yep. I get bored of making isk and I don't really have a goal right now. I spend most of my time ship spinning, chatting, and forum warrioring. |

This is where many people are but they are too addicted to quit. I have seen this going on alot between older players & friends. They cant motivate themselves form undocking but still login. That is the addictiveness of eve, if you know how the brain works than eve is comparable to coicaine. Do you also feel that happy feeling when not playing eve but only thinking about it? Thats the working elements doing their job's just like in *******. I know where im talking about as i have been addicted to both for several years but kinda cured now.
I fixed my eve by removing all the things that brought up negative associations in my head. I quitted my corp in big 0.0 alliance where i was director for 3 years. I stop keeping up with the politics and everything eve related and expecialy the "social eginering sites like kugu, evenews ect". I took a long break to forget stuff. Now im comming back doing stuff i only love to do. Looking back to this. The drama & social engineering of 0.0 politics ect "who's ****, who's pet, ect" is the worst part of all. This seriously messes with your mind and loads negative association in your head. This happends continious or subconinous. Ether on the giving side or recieving side this does something with you. Compair it to brainwashing, demoralization affects both sides, its affects mood's. It took me alot of time to figur out why i couldnt motivate myselve anymore but still kept logging in. Take this as advice and it saves you some time to figur it out.
A game should be relaxing, fun and giving no stress. If you dont get this than there is something wrong.
Some free advice for you, i actualy spend some time to write this down in decent not toaly broken grammar english. Normaly i dont give a **** but use it and spread the word to make eve a better place for all. |

Of course, that guy might actually flip them for a profit on a different account. Or some of those trades might be between alts of the same person in order to artificially make it look like the prints are more valuable (then sell them at an inflated price later). Jealousy one calls that.
OP , botters who make such amounts don't buy shiny game stuff they selll the isk and buy shiny RL stuff.
