I just got back to eve but i have no money (I'm not asking for some!!).
I'm stuck in high sec but i use to make all my money by ratting/plex probing in null/low sec.
I'm currently stuck doing L3 missions but i don't have the money to buy/fit a maelstrom for L4 missions in the near future.
So, I'm just wondering if anybody has ideas on how i can make some good isk in high sec to buy and fit a L4 maelstrom?. High sec probing was bad in the past, has this changed?.
Or any other ideas i am welcome ;[

Hmm, I just checked with an untrained alt in a noobship, and the gates to low/null are working just fine. Ran from Rens to N3-JBX and back.
How are you stuck? Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings? |

This belongs in the new player area but I'll answer it anyways. If you still have your probing equipment why not probe down wormholes that lead to lowsec/nullsec and go through them, then probe THAT system? There's plenty of wormholes in highsec. You could also be a scrub for a while and do some lvl1,2,3 missions until you get your pimp swag back. I don't know what your level of ability or amount of SP is though so I can't be certain what you should do. Missions might be good to re-acclimate yourself with the game but if you feel comfortable, go explore some lowsec/nullsec. You could even do some profession sites in wormhole space--they're not that dangerous in comparison to the anomalies, just make yourself aware of the risks. Exploration in highsec isn't bad per say... but yeah it is pretty bad... Plenty of wormholes leading to low and null though! https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=169738 |

If you aren't able to buy the ships to run the L3 missions, you could always revert back to a mission level you can buy a ship for and work your way back up to L3's...

Ninja Salvaging?
Heard it doesn't take a lot of ISK to start doing that.

If you cherry pick the wrecks and steal the choice loot, you can make between 5 million ISK (crappy wrecks and cheap loot) and 50 million ISK (shiny wrecks and faction tags) per mission. In my experience it averages out around 20-30 million ISK per hour. A decent prober + salvager setup costs under 10 million ISK and it sounds like you already have probing skills. Probably the easiest money a young or spacepoor character can make. "Suddenly, trash pickers! HUNDREDS of winos going through your recyclables." -Piugattuk
