Someone on this forum said something about some ships (maybe t2 bs's) that will be released att kali will have tha maximum slotsnumber increased to 12. Anyone know anything about this, and where to find information about it? =A= Live Long and Prosper =A= |

I trowl these forums day and night and that guys post was first anyoen has ever mentioned anything although me and a corpy were discussing it the other day and it is easily possible to make 12 slots ont hat thing they could even make it 10 easily just by tackingt hem on the edge of current one's

Afaik that was the main reason why they changed the modules UI. But maybe I'm letting something out, but even the new one would have trouble handling too many slots, except if you limit the total amount to 24. Means if the Apocalypse II has 12 high slots the rest of the layout will stay the same.

I think i read somewhere in the dev blog about them updating the UI to be able to hold 12 slots for when t2 BSes come out. ----------------

New uber killing ships 4tl.
Tech 2 specialist bs 4tw.
Gallente flagship: 2% bonus to hybrid damage, 2% bonus to hybrid tracking, 2% bonus to drone damage, 2% bonus to armour, amount for all gang members, per level.
Goon also recommend: "Sniper" bs, good at range crap at close Percent per level bonus to range and damage, penalty to tracking and reduction in high slots. "Tank" bs, good at tanking crap at dps.
Just had to get that in there ------------

Yea, I always thought the T2 ships were all about specialisation, not making uber death ships o doom. ------------------------------------------------ I've always owned Kehmor, cheap as chips off Ebay

Actually if you closed the gaps between them it could probably handle 8/10/12 slot respectively for low/med/high.

i doubt it for 2 reasons 1. the fitting menu only has 8 of each slot 2. ccp are trying to combat lag not make extra _______________________________________________

So adding 10% additional damage/tracking/drone damage/armor to an entire gang doesn't create death ships of doom
Your comment is completley contradictory as well. You speak of specialization, how is specializing in being a damage dealing ship not specializing? ________________________________________________________

Well, Assault ships do plenty of damage AND have ubener resistances. They should have been really slow or something - at the moment a HAC version is better in EVERY SINGLE WAY than it's tech 1 counterpart. Specializing is it being much improved at one of the things the tech 1 could do, or was primarily used for.
HACs at the moment are only stopped from being the best ships because battleships exist. Assault battleships would finish any balance in Eve. ------------

Not true in every aspect, a Sacriledge has less low slots and turret hardoints than a Maller. A Deimos has half the drone bay of a thorax, the Zealot hasn't got a drone bay, and the drone bay of a Muninn is smaller than the rupture's one. That's only a few examples.
I do Agree that those changes are mostly unnoticeable and get copensated by the rest of new characteristics on the ships, but it is not true that all HAS are better than their T1 counterparts in every aspect.
