Im new to eve (about 1 month)im doing lvl 2 missions in a caracal and i have no problem doing them. I've tried lvl 3 missions but my heavy missles seem to do very very very little damage. Agent missions are only paying about 100k isk + bounties. Anybody have any advice on ways to make more money im training some skills so i can get a barge and mine but id really like to focous on combat. Any advice on how to make more money would be a big help thanks.

Go into 0.4 to 0.1 and do belt spawns. 1 spawn could give you around 200k in total and you also could get some really nice loot.
Also, if you going to focus on combat, then decideon what you want to specialize in. Since you in a caracal, im assuming you use rails and launchers, so train for T2 Railguns and train up your piloting skills so you can fly T2 frigates. ----------------------------------------------- CANADIAN |

in .3 space the highest im finding is 17k and thats only about one per belt the rest are 4-7k
this ends up paying worse than missions

Actually, its 17k PLUS loot. Depending on the loot you can make another 50k, and even if its worthless you can still reprocces and at least get some money from the minerals. (You can recycle gurrista copper tags and logs for 4 noxcium each.) Well well, look at bunny.................(\_/) |--------.............#---->.................(O.o) |___|...........................................(> <) ..||.........Bunny go ByBy!................. |

You re going to mine and probably refine. So best advice is to do agent missions for the corp whose stations you re going to refine/recycle at, why?
Easy you need 6.0 standing with the corp to get 0% we take refines if you add to this good refining skills ( refining5, efficiency 4 specific skill 2+) you ll get 0% we take 0% loss refines.

Do you have the 3 skills social, negotiation and connections ? if not they help by boosting standings and mission rewards. Also try doing missions for an agent in a lower sec system, you will find doing missions for an agent in 0.5 more rewarding than missions for an agent in 1.0

go to .1 or .2 space and find some nice cruiser spawns they will usually have cruisers starting at dual 40k or in .1 even dual 90k(watch out for these as they will probly kill your caracal

Level 3 Deadspace complexes.
You get like 4 zones link by acceleration gates, various cruisers and traffic management stations which when killed drop the personnal effects. From my experiance they are usually from level 5 to level 8. These can be sold to CONCORD from 200,000isk - 1,200,000isk each and you usually find a couple.
Also they're usually in high security space.

RockDude generally players that choose to pve wont get that much, i dont know how many 50k ships you can get in 10 minutes but i can make about 2 mil in that time from other career routes, also the deeper in 0.0 space the more chance you face getting ganked by corps claiming the space as their own. (you probably know this, cos i started around the same time as you)
I like to kill rats (the npc kind, i always get my arse handed to me if pvp) but its only cos i enjoy it, its definitly not a money earner. several other ways you can earn money while you wait to do those very high earning lvl 4 missions:
Trade: if you like me and minmater/brutor (ideal for combat) your have a high charisma lvl (well average) and all trade training depend on Charisma and Willpower to finish fast.
Refine skills: I dont know how good this will work for you, cos if you got a low intel/mem attributes, it could take a while.
Social/Connections/negotiations: This i am working on and it got me to a lvl 2 agent pretty fast and the skills were pretty easy to get to lvl 3. Perhaps if you worked on your "Empathy" the times to finish these skills will go down alot faster. Oh and negotiations improves how much cash you get. (but social/connections is definitly the way to go for better agents, just remember empathy, willpower first it will cut hours and even days off if you get it to a good lvl).
