We need a more harsh NPC high sec its far to solo friendly and we need to move eve away from
High sec = solo play
Low sec = solo/small group
Null = group.
We all so need new stuff for are new bros. Eve needs to start new players off in group play before they have even finished the Tutorials. A Dark time comes. A time of terror comes. My time. If it offends you. Stop me. |

We need a tutorial path that takes noobs on a make beleave Low sec /PvP journey that at the end of it leaves them knowing the basics of frig combat and knowing losing ships is part of eve. A Dark time comes. A time of terror comes. My time. If it offends you. Stop me. |

guessing you haven't done the tutorial for a while have you? one of the missions basically says "go out there and get blown up" as the mission objective.... Reading my posts is like panning for gold; most it will be useless, but occasionally you'll find a nugget of gold. |

I think we need a less harsh attitude towards having fun.
Yeah yeah, it's a bleak universe and a PvP oriented game and all that, but when the EVE community seems to demand a more masochistic attitude from its newcomers than the average leather S&M fetish club, you might want to thionk about lightning the frigate up. Just a thought. |

Most mission runners would not actually complain about challenging and engaging missions. What you need to remember though is that level four mission are the main sorce of income for a lot of players, the same with NullSec anomalies.
There needs to be a balance between how challenging the AI is and how rewarding it is to kill, level four missions should never be forced as group play. To my understanding that's what level fives were designed for and the main reason for incursions. "Don't count on others for help. In the end each of us is in this alone. So let me see, now with the new system I see players with bounties, pirates flying thru hi sec and an assortment of others with WANTED all over their profiles, want a meaner place aggro them, shoot on sight the reds -5 freely, pirates flying thru hi sec are baiting for kill right, kill their shuttle and they give kill rights to friends or their alts on you, all the danger you crave within hi sec so you can stay safe and not go to the danger zone low/WH/0.0 oops snap my finger that's not it, you want to feel danger of a lion but behind the zoo display. |

I would.of never stuck.with eve is not for a guy i calleda good friend( till he quit) letting me buzz around in a frig in his missions shooting things and webbing stuff, the hole while he said I was helping, now I know better I was just leaching.
I still go pick up new bros and take them to go do stuff last time I was on I took a guy in a destoryer with me because he said he was bored in local as I passes by the noon system, to do an high expedition Now he's doing high sec scanning and keeps pestering me to take him to low sec. Your still missing the point, people start playing eve get bored and leave because for the most part they try to play solo, because the game truly gives new players NO session to fleet up to make friends.
I'm asking for something that will make new players make friends in game out side of a pop up box saying JOIN A CORP.
I guess all I'm saying add some new player activity's that show them eves better in a group. The tutorial is fine at showing new bros the solo side of eve, but sucks completely at showing eve as a group activity.

I played Eve precisely beacuse I could run lvl 4 missions solo, then lose my isk in lo-sec pvp.
As I can can no longer really run them solo, (my Navy Domi is about as much use for mission running as a Velator), I have already started to withdraw from the game.
Skill queue and forums right now.
After a while, I will probably forget to keep my skill queue going, then by the time my annual sub is due, I will not have played or skilled for so long, that realistically, I shall just let Eve fade away.
ARMA 3 is out soon.
This is not a good result for me as I have played Eve for about two hours a day, seven days a week for quite some time.
Yes I know, adapt, and fly Minmatar or something, but CCP will proably nerf them at some point, so it all feels a bit futile to me. This is not a signature. |

I would love some challengeing small group PVE. Missions in high sec (so no one can cheat and bring caps) that require a 3 - 5 players. |

I love the idea of forced gameplay. Maybe we can have PvE only zones too, so that those darn PvPers can quit bugging me while I'm turning big rocks into little ones. Or how about a game where everyone has to spend a week straight of login time playing the market?
In short: Bug off. I'm playing the game to enjoy myself, not to provide people with helpers. |

Some of the best group play I ever had in EVE Online was in high-sec. I hopped on my Minmatar neutral station repper about a year ago, jumped in a deadspace-fit Wolf, got about 15 newbies straight out of newb corp chat, and we all went out and ran a level four. The biggest ship we had was a Thrasher. We not only succeeded, but nobody died and a good time was had by all. Pity you can't get away with those sorts of shenanigans with the current AI, but it was certainly a great experience that I'd recommend doing if it were still possible. |

What happens is this, dude.
When I started, at about 3 months I joined LiveTech, one of the rare LARGE High Sec Alliances. Unfortunately before the year was out, because of the non-stop War Decs that brought industry to a grinding halt, it was no longer viable and the whole thing collapsed (see my Employment History).
The next corp which again formed an Alliance was broken and dismantled last Spring because of harrassment from the Null Sec based Goons who had decided to screw around with all of High Sec.
So, it ultimately became more feasible for me to just remain myself and my toons in my corp and deal with everything by myself.
Over time I have learned that this is pretty much the path that happens more often than not.
It's supposed to be cooperative, but the Null Alliances are so bored, they do everything they can to disrupt the Industrial High Sec Corps and Alliances. Very very few survive any length of time.
That's just sadly the way it is.
