Edited by: Bedrock on 25/04/2005 22:21:26 Edited by: Bedrock on 25/04/2005 22:20:55 holy crap, so expensive! I normally use the magma index to get a reasonable idea of what prices to expect on certain minerals.
I was looking for Isogen in Tash region and its surroundings, only to find that Isogen is selling around 150. Thats around double what the index suggests.

Anyways, I'm wondering which is the best region to purchase isogen. I haven't looked north of the universe, so please, fill me in.
oh and WTB 130,000 units of isogen :P

Im guessing isogen is rare as less people are mining and more doing level 4's
Corp mate of mine brought 120k for 90isk but the next best price was 150k like you say.
Its almost worth mining just for a few hours while watching telly or something at the price you can charge for minerals now! not nearly as fun as missions though!

Soon after exodus prices were rising accross the board as many miners switched into doing agent running or whatever else.
At the same time, there was this exploit where npcs were selling an item comprised of mostly isogen, or maybe it was isogen itself, at far below the value on the market. So people reprocessed and stockpiled tens of millions of units of the stuff and that held the price down below 75 even as pyer went from 6.5 to 8, trit went from 2.4 to 3.2, mex went from 11 to 18, and so forth. So the steep rise in isogen prices of late is just the market correcting for that supply shock. It has flattened out at 110 on the buy market, but is still the lowest volume mineral relative to mining time so i wouldnt recommend buying it off the spot market.

Thanks, I didn't notice that, makes sense now... I'll stop using that link. I decided to mine it myself. Good ol' labor work.

Havent seen 150 for isogen yet but have seen player posted orders for 125.
Isogen market is way up from what I see from player posted orders (at least that is the ones I am filling).
Personally I dont care if they are building hoarding or speculating.
For me right now it is more profitable to sell isogen than build with it.
When the reverse happens I will go back to building.
And No I dont see a shortage of isogen bearing roids anywhere, just a distinct lack of people digging those rocks.
One of my usual haunts has NOONE digging there. I think they are off digging other rocks (possibly the high posted player orders for trit and pyrite - seen some of the highest prices ever lately)
I think the market for mission doing Ravens is the price for the mineral market being so cut throat lately.
$130 Million for a BB ?!?!??!? TotensBurntCorpse Likes EVE, Starfleet Command Series, Earth & Beyond, Anything Battlefield, MOHAA, Call of Duty.
Dislikes Not much. |

Iso prices are going very high because most iso is in less then .5 security. Not to many miners want to mine there because they are virtually guarenteed of being attacked by PVPers.
Who wants to go at the least hang out in station untill they leave, or at the worst lose there ship?
I used to have a nice sig but it keeps getting removed by somone with no explanation. Typical isnt it. |

ROFL, you have no idea what you are talking about. The amount of pirates in 0.4 have never been lower.
They all: - Turned into mercs - Went agentrunning
With an eye on local you can mine perfectly safe in 0.4

Agreed theres a few systems within the boarders of a certain part of space that I'm in.
And well its all quiet has been for 2 weeks and going strong. There are few people that mien in these systems but if they do its a small op that no one really would notice on the map. --------------------------------------------------- Ummm ya.... |

Never fear gents: Cummy, the Princess of PVP, Purveyor of Isogen Pleasure will soon be marshalling forth significant quantities of Isogen in Tash Murkon!
Give me a week or so and you'll see ^ ^ :)

I must say hes right. You just need to find a not so populated system and you'll be fine. Anything not right next to major empire systems will do well ---
