That quote comes directly from the patch notes. I'm well aware that not all of those missions are normal, non-storyline, missions but I've been running my level 3 CN agent every day since Tuesday and so far it's been the same old missions as always. The new agent content was one of the new features I was really looking forward to but so far it's been a bit of a paper-launch!
I've heard no mention of this from the devs, relatively few people have asked about this specifically, so I'm asking now; where are they? If there's some bug that's halted their implementation when can we expect to see them actually hit tranquility? I know I'm not the only one who's been disappinted by this ommission...

I had two new missions with my level 3 agents so far: "Operation Hamstring" and "The Small Armory". There's also a new deadspace variant of "Duo of Death" that probably counts as new mission.
Zrakor posted immediately after that dev blog, that not all of the new missions had passed final testing, and that these 40 missions would be distributed across all agent levels, factions and divisions, so you can't expect more than a handful of new missions at your agent. If they count the election missions among those 40, even less.

The Guristas Spies has been changed; it's now a decent mission. In addition to the single Extinguisher, they now have added 4 dread pith destroyers and a dread pith usurper.

Also keep in mind, that the 40 new missions are spread out over all factions. So you won't get 40 new missions from your Caldari Navy agent. More like 5 max I think. ___________________________________________

There were over 40 new deadspace missions implemented last patch. Many of them are actually storyline missions, i.e. the ones you get referred to. So they aren't as easily apparent as for example, 'Damsel in Distress' which appears for all factions and is non-important (i.e. very frequently dished out).
The Gallente Election missions are not part of this equation actually, they are more of an "events" thing than a permanent mission.

You know, I'd pay good ISK for a mission corp which DIDN'T give out that blasted Damsel mission

I have had three new missions at lv 1 (recently changed to CN to get a nice shiney raven), cant remember names right now though, one is where you assult a storage depot wich drops a load of random stuff. there is i think a follow on mission to this where you rescue some pilots but is a setup. cant remember the other one at the moment.

I love that mission, at lvl 3 anyway, think it takes like a whole 5 minutes. ~{When evil and strange get together anything is possible}~ A tool is only useless when you don't know how to use it. - ActiveX The grass is always greener on the other side. - JoCool |

I've gotten one called 'Radio Telescope' two or three times. You have to kill one of those Radio Telescopes (go figure). There are a few rats guarding in 3 or 4 groups. Each group is near either the radio telescope itself or around some new structure I can't remember the name of. Each structure is also guarded by turrets. You show up more or less in the complex with the radio telescope about 35km in front of you, but each of those new structures is between 80 and 110km from you in different directions. The turrets drop large frequency crystals, but other than that I haven't seen much drop from them.
A pretty cool mission. A long range deadspace. :D ---

Anyone notice that the new missions are extremely difficult? For example, I can't remember the name of the mission, but it's a Minmatar agent issuing a mission that includes taking on a couple of CONCORD ships? I warp in at 40km and instantly I'm webbed and 2 little ships that appear to be intys come after me and start taking down my Brutix very nicely. Oh, this is a LEVEL 2 AGENT!!!!!
I warped out, but something tells me that it's not supposed to be that hard.

you had trouble in a BC with a lvl 2 mission? ok, that's just wrong, if you have been playing eve for more then 3 days, lvl 2 agent missions in anything bigger then a frigate, should not be a challenge..
i poked a few agents earlyer today, both gave me crappy mission offers.. even a lvl 4 agent offered me a mission, that had only 100k isk payment, and 200 LP.. the lvl 3 agents rarely ever offered more then 90k isk.. LP hardly worth mentioning..
i'm starting to think the patch broke something regarding agents.. or i have just been unlucky.. i hope that was bad luck anyway..

Yes, I had trouble in a BC on a level 2 agent mission. Maybe if you read my post thoroughly again you'll realize what's going on.
In case you didn't get it the first time, I warped in at 40 km, and numerous CONCORD ships were off in the distance. However, there were 2 intys that flew up on my pretty quick, webbed me, and just started blasting away at my shields and armor. Yes, I'm armor tanking. I launched 4 Hammerhead drones and had them start eating away at the intys, but I only got one inty halfway down before my armor was totally gone and I warped out.
Not to mention, there were probably another 4 or 5 cruisers about 40 km out that locked me and were lobbing missles at me that weren't hitting since I was so far out.
So, yes... I had trouble with a level 2 agent in a BC.
P.S. I was using 250mm scout hybrids with iridium to pelt away at the cruisers all the way out there.

had that exact same concord mission, flying a brutix using 125 compressed and 150 carbides with antimatter + a webifier, and those inty's went down fast. Mission isnt hard, your setup for it was at a fault!
my first rogue harrasment was hard using dual150's aswell.. just need to learn what the new missions bring. |

So let's get this straight - you're so skill deficient that you can only use 4 drones and you're complaining about the missions being to hard?
Get some skills and try again. And try fitting hardeners.
