Just curious... Were high security system L4 agent mission payouts (including bounties for kill missions) nerfed in any significant way with the latest patch? Is it now worthwhile for people to move to low sec empire to run agent misisons or, God forbid, 0.0? Anyone? ----------------------------------------------

not really, the problem with 0.0 running though is most people have really bad standings with all pirate factions so they could'nt even if they wanted to.

I don't know about lvl4 agents, but lvl3 agents nerfed nicely. Every mission have 3-5 jumps added, half of payout and now they sending you from 0.9 to run blockades in 0.2 for the 48.000 isk reward! You think I am packing my Enyo for 0.0 trip? Yeah, right.... soon (tm)

Before patch I was getting mission rewards of around 1mil plus bonuses and bounties, now its down to 200k-300k reward plus bounties and bonuses. I havn't checked an agent in lower sec space yet, but I soon will be.
Also, LP per mission dropped from 1-5k down to below 1k.

That sounds like a significant nerf to the payouts, but is it meaningful relative to the large bounties you earn durring a mission? ----------------------------------------------

i get crappy LP now.. LV4 missions are hardly worth it other then the bounties
i wouldn't mind but I can't find any lv4 agents I can use that are in low sec systems.. so im screwed, 200 LP for vengeance and 200k reward, oh yes, worth the 2hours needed to finish it.
at least i got bounties.. those are cool ________

Agents in 0.0 is nerfed the same way. lots of jumps added. So there is no security level difference there , general agent nerf. It affects the 0.0 and low security agent runner more though , since they get more exposed to pirates than before.

I just had a silence the informant mission from a level 4 in a 0.9 system.
Payment was 1001000 isk (down from old 1.5 mil) and LP was 2678 down from 3200.
Some missions seem to be reduced just a little , while others are hit much harder. Can not remember what i made off most missions , only the key boosting missions like GE and Silence Informant.
Your Mega Afocal Pulse Maser I perfectly strikes Asteroid (Veldspar) [R0ME], wrecking for 798.3 damage.
Your 425mm Railgun I perfectly strikes Guardian Captain, wrecking for 685.9 damage.

Interesting stuff. My 0.4 agent got a sizable boost in turn (29% to be precise) in LP rewards. Vengeance went from 4385 LPs to 5630 or so. Now the big question would be if there's sort of breakpoints in the algorithm or if it scales smoothly. Might make 0.5 agents pretty profitable if it's smooth scaling.

I think that there are some new bug here, my lvl 3 agent in a 0.8 sec has turned the offers up, but the missions have been alot harder :
Angel Extravaganza Mission briefing We've been gathering information from our agents within the Cartel to prepare ourselves for a possible attack on our assets. So far we've found out that they are planning a major offensive against a target within Nahyeen today. The target still remains unknown to us, but we managed to discover the meeting point of some of their forces. I want you to gather all the help you can muster and fly out to the meeting points and deliver a devastating blow to their fleet. That should deter them from any attack inside Nahyeen, and send them a message they won't forget. Just don't forget what you're up against. We have no idea how many ships are out there, all we know is where 5 of their rendezvous points are. Destroy any and all targets you can find there, then report back to me. If there's too many of em out there, then get some help, I'm sure some of our other agents in the vicinity would be willing to give you a hand. My agent in Scolluzer is constantly giving me missions with 4 to 6 jumps away, it takes twice if not more time to finish now. Happens w/ 0.0 agents also.
Rewards, lps and battleships missions also have been water down.
Not really complaining, I am just going to pack up my bags and return to 0.0 for some crokite love

Well, the level 3 Angel Extravaganza isn't hard (assuming you don't do the bonus stage). In fact it's probably easier than the Serpentis one (there's nothing of comparative "difficulty" to that Serpentis second stage). Rogue Drone Harrassment is more of a challenge.
Had some serious lessening of LP and ISK reward for missions at my 0.8 level 3 agent though, but I was assuming that was intentional as per the patch notes.

My level 4s (.4 system) have been improved pretty dramatically - I had a mission last night that gave me about 7000 loyalty points and a 2M reward - previously the same mission would've been @ 4700lp and 1.7M reward.
I'm not going to complain about the additional hops - us mission runners had/have it easy. If you're in a .9 system running missions what is the risk??

(0.0) none empire deep in stain space. Agent is giving more lps and missions seem to be no more than 1 jumps away if any jumps at all. Still lacking bounty rat missions tbh im making no isk at all but im not doing it for the isk. As for rouge drones are they showing up in empire still ?

Missions now seem to suck everywhere
I am not jumping 7-8 jumps to lets use my transport agent 22 shuttles moved 8 jumps and reward is 8400 and 26k bonus reward So lets see can haul what max 4 maybe 5 in a mammoth and anyone who has flown a mammoth knows how slow they are
So now talking easy couple hours to do missions for what 32k lol
Top it off LP is 194 now remember this is a lvl 4 quialty 11 with skills 32
Been like this sense patch all crap and longer longer hauls kill missions
I understand nerfing some but they killed the mission's all togeather
I even now get offers from agents that item not even in game yet
Like Coffee and was told bye GM nothing can do decline it move on lol
Eve has nerfed to much in this last patch and be honest don't think they care
They mostly care thisw ay Smallier rewards takes longer make isk so have to play longer get what u want
Only one's who gained from this Nerf was miners and wooooo that fun to do NOT

My IV-12 (Effective +11) 0.9 sec Manufacturing agent got a mega nerf.
No more 50/50 kill/courier, it's 100% courier. I actually agree with this, as it's not fair on non-BS pilots trying to earn money hauling. However, for the massive Various Deliveries haul, LPs are down from ~1800 to ~1400 LPs and pay is down from ~1m to ~0.6m. With excellent expanders, this takes 2-4 hours depending on whether or not you have instas. The only bright side is that POS part bonuses are still frequent and can be sold for reasonable ISK.
Essentially, hauling agents don't pay at L4 compared to every other type of activity. I myself don't care as I'm packing my bags for low-sec L4 kill agents like everyone else, but the altruistic side of me can't help but feel sorry for players who have trained industry at the expense of BS and can't earn even money akin to Empire mining from NPCs. Kill agents should still give higher rewards than equivalent level/quality courier agents on account of the greater skill involved, but the nerf went too far, I think.

What confuses me is quality vs the security rating of the system. Like is it better to have a -10 quality agent in a .3 compared to a 0 in a .6 for example.

The price you pay for working in high sec space is that you are paid less and/or travel more. Don't like it? Go below .5 and work an agent. Yeah, sometimes there are player rats that will kill you for fun, but that's the risk that gives the higher reward.

I did Angel Extravaganza deep in 0.0, and I got around 2800LP's and 1.6mil.
I allso got around 30mil in bounty, and some nice loot from the rats

Not many are posting their effective qualities.
I bet most of you that have found the biggest nerfs are to the high security low agent quality.
The high security high quality have not changed much, tiny bit. the low quality high security have.
I have seen almost no change to my lvl 4 agent in .5 space other than having a few jumps. Which is total crap for lvl 4 agents.
the idea of sending everyone a few jumps in a tanked BS is absolutely stupid. Tanked BS don't travel.
No whining about it. they changed dead space missions so that gates were closer for tanked BS travel. and now they add travel to other systems for tanked BS's. Stupid at best and all to curb whining about "balance"
i guess people forgot the "fun" aspect. Tanked BS travel is not fun in any way.
Stupid.
Like was just stated a few posts before. Each patch since exodus has ended up with complete whining and flamage about all the various components that make eve have any "fun" for those that are not in it solely for PvP space battles.
I personally am contemplating ending my eve lives after 2 years. each patch is ruing the game, and each patch contains more nerfs to the fun parts of eve, and all those nerfs are coming from these stupid forum whine attacks crying nerf this balance that blah blah.
nerf the game right out of existance. nerfing anything fun ....... CCP is building their game for closing.
Exodus, it's patch bugs and problems, is going to stand for Exodus to another game and if anyone has been noticing the amounts of people regularly logged into eve plumet...... i to suspect the supscriptions are too. last night only like 4 .5 k people logged on.
I hadn't seen 4.5k people logged on unless it was right after a reboot since i started this game. some of the lowest number ever.
There are a lot of people that play this game just for missions a I for one think this last patch has totally fubared the best PvE game going due to the PvP whiners.
When any game aint fun to paly anymore then niether is the reason to pay any subscription to it.
And that whole idea of boosting 00 agents is silly due to the fact 99% of 00 agents are npc pirate factions and 99% of the agent runners have negative standing to those agents so they can't go there anyway.
All this nerf did was ruin any kind of fun the non PvP mission runners had in this game and it will show up in loss of subscriptions. Good go PvP whiners.

I then accumulated a substantial amount of lp points with this agent In Niya. and then "The Patch"! My team mates in a 0.2 system are now getting 7114 lp pts for the same mission that I will now get 3669 lp pts for. I read the pre-patch information that indicated that there was a change coming with regard to agents in high security areas vs agents in low sec. area and that the way it had been calculated was in error. I never imagined that the difference would be so great after the patch.
Does ccp have any suggestion for those of us who went for the best agent, not knowing that ccp would nerf this area because they made a mistake somehwere along the line in their reward and lp calculations as far as system security level was concerned? Did ccp give any though to those of us who blindly went into this and built up too many lp points with one agent to now make a change?
It is discouraging to be headed in one direction to find that a patch is going to completly upset all the time and effort you have put in to going in that direction, and this has happened in more than one area. Today I am discouraged. I hope tomorrow is better -- and quite frankly I dread the next patch. I fear that other areas that I have put alot of time and effort into, whether it be in skills or gametime, will be the object of the next big nerf.
