Edited by: Cinnander on 06/04/2005 12:38:40 Nosferatus will allow you to drain power if you're close enough, which will help your tank... but it's not terribly effective against NPCs You could probably drop the booster charges (or at least 1) with nos' and use something like a cap recharger instead O_o
><))))¦> This is fishy .. You know what to do. |

small blasters do very good damage and don't use much cap, so it would be wise to fit those.

Yep use small guns in high, either 150mm or small neutrons. Or nos if you want. ------------------------------------------

Pfft, its very effective. Fitted my rax with 4 nossies and a neut to help a friend with some level 4 missions.. Used it on those dominix drones with insane resists and armor tank.. What was unkillable by my friend's megathron alone became killable with just a couple minutes of concentrated fire... He couldnt keep his armor tank up with the amount of drainage I was putting on him.. He wasn't firing very much either...

Jesea if your not using the high slots you could throw in some 1600mm Tungston Armor Plates I think they give you an added 2200+ armor HP's. I know with hull upgrades 4 it brings my total armor up to around 3,850 HP. You will take a power grid hit of 500, or you might want to try 1 1600 Tungston and 1 800 Tungston. With 1 1600 Tungston and 5 small neutrons I charged my CEO from 60k away and ate missile spam the whole way from his Caracal, MWD running the whole way and armor never went below half 1 minute later i was into his hull, And with my currently crappy drone skill I never deployed them since I can only run 3 anyway.

NPC's atm dont get affected by nos so you sucking its cap wouldnt have mattered. ----------------------------------------

They do have cap. It's just that the NPCs dont use it when MWDing, repairing, firing etc. So you can take a bit of cap but it hardly recharges back up while you kill em.

Being a large drone fan myself, how about putting a remote repair module or 2 in the highs? Keeps your drones alive longer! And you can repair your friends! Cheers!

I know completely 100% sure that we were able to break the armor tank on some mission BSes using nossies. Went from not being able to kill them at all to doing it in under 2 or 3 minutes.
