We mostly call each other by our real names, except in the rare circumstances we know someone's dev name but can't remember their real name. Or I suppose when we need to differentiate between two people with similar names (such as CCP Dolan and I, which is really annoying since we sit right next to each other). But the red colored hair looked bad, so I went blue. I think the name Ginger Barbarella sounds better. Also, you could make your hair a sandy blonde maybe, since that's the actual color of ginger (the spice).
My name is based on the initial idea (before I had played EVE) that I was going to be a miner. I initially tried to fit The Reaver of Darkness (my usual internet name) but it didn't fit, so I pulled one of my WoW character names in for a last name. I picked Glitterstim cause it was a minerly thing to do (for those of you who catch the reference).
Yes, I played WoW and I'm not ashamed because I quit when Cataclysm came out. So :P -á"The Mittani: Hated By Badposters i'm strangely comfortable with it" -Mittens |

I spend hrs in the creation screen of games. I do not see my characters as an extension of myself. Each one is created with their own personality and I am more or less a...spiritual advisor that is along for the ride. I let them tell me their story.
I come up with a word or phrase that describes their personality. I then use the traslator to come up with the actual name.
Jesuis was to be built around a stealth type of character. For him, I choose the French translation to...

Right before I made this account I watched the movie Blood Diamond. When Leo is talking to Mandy the first time, he called himself a 'Soldier of Fortune', 258 is just because it is easy to type on the number pad, straight up the middle, as a consequence, alot of video game names include the number 258 now. |

The Stigman part of my name comes from 'Stig of the Dump', a childrens book from the 1960's about a caveman living in a modern day dump ...I feel akin to the out-of-ones-own-time premise.
Zuwadza comes from a previous MMO I played, that being Anachy Online (AO), Elian Zuwadza is a unique NPC. I played for 6 years and the inclusion of this name is to pay homage to what was my first MMO and to ensure a little part of AO lives on long past its demise.

My online name for all my console systems has always been Sectrix, from way back when I played Unreal on the Dreamcast. I just made up a name that I thought sounded cool at the time.
Turns out a sectrix is actually a, "curve swept out by the point of intersection of two lines which are each revolving at constant rates about different points called poles".
...Yeah.
So this guy is an onomatopoeia of my real name, more or less.
Also Universal Remonster was taken.

My boyfriend calls me 'Kitten'. Also 'Kitten Piranha', cause I have sharp teeth and sometimes bite. So, is a combination of the two. And I just really like the name Khadijah, is a Muslim/Arabic name and the Ni-Kunni looked vaguely racially appropriate for it. Think Khadijah was Mohammed's first wife?
