Hi
I am currently npcing in a 0.0 system that hasn't seen much npcing before, and is only spawning single bs. If I work at the system and kill the bs spawns. Will this increase the size of the bs spawns over time??
Thanks

Edited by: Rod Blaine on 29/03/2005 14:36:55 depends.
Size and makeup of spawns depend on system security. And different from what most ppl think, there is more then 0.0-1.0. There is -1.0 to +1.0, in lots of gradations.
Check you system here, to see it's true security rating. The lower= the better the spawns.
there are more factors at play (like spawns being better in npc claimed regions like Venal as opposed to vanilla regions like Tribute, or the presence of npc stations in a system). but in general you'll find the triple and dual BS spawns along with commanders and officers (and the better ores btw) in the lowest sec systems.
What however is not a factor is how many spawns are killed somewhere. You can ofc farm the system by killing eveyrthing crappy and leaving the good spawns to regenerate (leave one cruiser or frig alive and the rest will respawn after about 10-40 minutes), but the simple killing of spawns does not mean a bigger spawn will follow no.
So, go check it, and if it is relatively high, find a relatively low system with many belts in the same region and go there. _______________________________________________

Does anyone have a comprehensive list of the <0.0 sec ratings?
ex P-TMC
If you think you can do a better job, go find yourself a datacentre to host a box, get a copy of Visual Studio, and STFU.

Check the link he provided... Click here
You can browse a region and all of its systems sec status.
Usually, you can expect a respawn within an average 20 minutes, provided nobody farms the same system as you do oc ^^ (\_/) (O.o) (> <)=Oveur (proof) "Jumping 50 systems I can like, have sex 150 times during that period" |

Double battleship spawns occur in a -0.46 system, not quite sure how the -0.46 factors into it
