If anyone could recommend investment firms in EVE that offer CD style investments. I have some excess capital to invest and just wondering what options are out there. TIA.

If you're interested though, I have reserved shares worth 12 billion in Vaerah's new venture; you can buy some from me as soon as it goes live. It is never too late to turn from the errors of your ways: He who repents of his sins is almost innocent.

Cool, I'll look into it. I know this is off topic, but what is the reason everyone is investing in this miner bumper corps? Are they paying out dividends for purging the AFK/Bot's? TIA. |

The New Order of Highsec is not your typical investment. You pay in isk, James 315 pays out lulz. (Do check out his blog MinerBumping.com.) It is a bit hard to calculate a ROI on an investment with such disparate input and output, but I believe it's worth every penny. Almost forgot to mention, Grendell is looking for a medium-term investment here. It is never too late to turn from the errors of your ways: He who repents of his sins is almost innocent.

Neither, I've been away from the game for a bit due to work and am trying to catch up on the forum messages. Like I said just curious. |

Nanatoa, thanks for all the info. Your mid-range option is a little far out of my capital's reach :). |

If that comment is about the 5B minimum investment then my advice is , do not invest at all with anyone.

Investing is bad. With inflation like it is, anything collateralised doesn't actually beat inflation. It's strangely similar to the real world. |

Which is the problem I'm in right now. I can't get on long enough to generate revenue due to R/L commitments for the next 4 months. So do I let a 200-300 mil sit stagnant or invest some and earn interest of the dividends. Don't get me wrong I remember the Phaser Inc deal last year; I didn't recoup my investment but I wasn't concerned when the bottom fell out because the amount invested wasn't much in the first place. |

So risk loosing 300 m just for the possible gain of an hour lvl4 missioning AT BEST ?

Yeah, 300M isn't really much in the grand scheme of things. I generally start to worry about losing isk to inflation when my liquid goes over 10B or so. |

PlanetCorp will be offering public investment opportunities at some point, but right now we are just looking for ground floor investors and that isn't really open to the public either. |

Your best bet is to invest in my my fund, it's exactly made for your situation.
However it's full, so you might want to buy shares from somebody who will sell them on the exchange. Auditing | Collateral holding and insurance | Consulting | PLEX for Good Charity
