lots of umads on these boards lately, which makes for entertaining reading but is usually skewed due to shiptoasting spacenerds. i understand having different viewpoints, but there's a difference between an opinion and spewing garbage all over the internet.
so, CAOD, who do you consider to be an alliance that really gets it? what alliance isn't full of terrible FCs (AAA), terrible pilots (TEST TEST TEST), terrible neckbeards (Goons Goons Goons), or terrible Russians? i know nulli got a good rap after the big fleets a few months ago as being a group that flew smart against the odds and did OK. what others are out there? |

RnK for sure. Everytime i hear of some engagement, they pull off some encredible stuff.
I would normally go for PL, but they seem to be trapping hotdropping small targets more and more often rather than engage large fleets plus they teamed up with TEST clearly sends a signal to me that they do not want challenges. |

RnK are probably the ones who are coming up with new fleets and the like I see most often.
Then again PL are clearly experts and they are doing a lot of working making Test not terribad (which anyone from Test will take you would be a miracle).
I'll tell you who I don't respect though: EXE

I would have to say our allies within the dotbros. NCdot and BL S2N et all. They have been the catalyst for what is essentially a revolution in the way my alliance pvp's. Before the war we were improving at a pace over the last 3 months or so, but this conflict has caused an explosion in our abilities. Still a ways to go. Keep bringing the fights bro's. I drain ducks of their moisture for sustenance. |

When you look back at the history of the game, only two alliances really stand out.
My favourite group of die-hards must be FIX (Firmus Ixon???)
I had an IAC alt back in the day when having alts in all "major" alliances was still kind of important to me. I remember well, how the guys at FIX were fighting bigger alliances on different fronts and defending/attacking till the bitter end.
In second place must be Brick Squad / Roadkill. Been around forever, have lost as much as they have won, will always be there. They have the same mindset as my guys in Manson. You can kick us around, kill all our ships, take all our space, we'll be back next week.
The alliances / coalitions in this game is too big. I will always cheer for the tough, small, don't-care types.
My alliance and it's sov migth not be here next week. Hell, I know for a FACT we won't have sov 3 months from now, but Manson Family easily have another 7 years in them, even if Goonsa and Test take all of null.
P.S. LV was kind of cool when they launched against RA. Also, CVA for refusing to die. Ventro69: There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

seeing a lot of RnK and the rest of the NC. group. i thought NC. was getting slammed? i guess i'm not up to snuff on current bignull politics.
what's the deal with PL lately? we've been involved with some drops with them and had fun in the past - including the biggest fight i've ever been involved with, i had to adjust my graphics settings on the fly to prevent dropping completely when forty supers landed on-field and barfed out bombers - so i know they're legit, but what's this with TEST? are they just using TEST as meat, or are they actually trying to improve them? |

Hmm RnK they do some good stuff, but its sporadic, they don't do stuff every day really. They plan these hotdrops and then made to look awesome...so no for me and PL well I think they have lost it since joining Test.
NC. cos we have lots of fun Nulli Secunda have surprised me a lot to be honest. Good Guys. Gypsy Band
But if it was to be who from ever then it would have to be Triumvirate. (Mk1)

NC. is getting slammed. How good they are fighting back or not totally depends on whether you listen to their propaganda (ahahaha silly CFC! We don't want this pathetic Sov and its moons anyway! We want elite ~wulfpax~ roams which will be easier when we have less members and are living in Venal) or the CFC propaganda (These guys have broken every deal we tried to make with them because their Alliance leader can't even control his own FCs, now he's desperately trying to make excuses so his Alliance/Allies can save face as they run out of Tribute before they fail cascade.).
The only thing you can say for sure is elements of NCDot certainly put up stiffer resistance than -A- and Soco when the CFC invaded Delve with whats now the HBC. On the other hand that could be just because SoCo are so hilariously bad the CFC got used to playing Sov Warefare on easy mode.
As for PL and TEST to me it seems like a relationship where Test gets what it desperately needed in terms of high skill, high income players able to field a lot of capitals and PL get what they needed a new project to work on, space without the need to look after space and numbers to bulk out their ideas for crazy new doctrines as you can't always field just 30 Titans. |

that makes more sense. and yes, going down swinging means a lot more than just derping your way back to NPC for the fourth time like a certain alliance seems to do regularly. |

Some aren't alliances but w/e.
1. Rooks and Kings Ballsy Triage pilots, 13bil Bhaalgorns make me drool.
2. Pandemic Legion Probably one of the best known alliances in the game for adapting to new doctrines.
3. Snuff Box Ballsy T3 warfare, I enjoy seeing their kills.
4. Intrepid Crossing Will literally fight anything.
5. Test Alliance Please Ignore Bestest bros in EVE GÖÑ GÖÑ GÖÑ Shadoo > Always remember to fit Cynosural Field Generator I, have 450 Liquid Ozone in your cargo and convo a friendly Pandemic Legion member if you have a capital or super capital ship tackled.

Can you define "getting slammed" for us? Is it when they kill your Titans, SC, and dumpster your fleets on a regular basis? Is it making you grind Tribute SOV for the last two or three months while they were handed the space through simple SOV transfer almost a year ago? Or is it that almost all their TZ are getting the best PvP action they've seen all year.....from SOLAR....
Whaaaa......you broke your deal with us and now we are going to subject ourselves to 2-3 months of boring structure shooting to show you a lesson......taking space you rarely used and simply rented out!.... We are going to get DBRB to hold a 2 hour class on how to make SOV grinding fun........because that's winning at EVE....
FYI - CFC is a pile of failed Alliances that realised if they all press F1 together they can actually hold space.. Good for you finding a way to still play SOV Warfare on easy mode........since you're still doing the same thing, just taking a lot longer while we all laugh at you..
I got uncomfortable with that last paragraph about TESTPL....kinda sounded like you were jelous that PL has found something better to do with their time than waste it on you? . #tweetfleet @Snot_Shot-á - GÇ£If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything" - Snot Shot - .....Yeah I'm a killin machine..... http://eve-kill.net/?a=pilot_detail&plt_id=50753

If you wanted incoherent you should read the post above yours.
By "basic research" do you mean you've looked up my killboard and seen most my kills have been in Drakes?
