Huh, a terrorist threat at the courthouse.... i may not have any real strong feelings on who is right or wrong in this case, but if that bomb threat person was tring to help Ms. Valadeus, i think they're missing the point of what she is trying to acomplish. -------------- You go planetside for a week or two, and when you get back, you suddenly find that your corp moved to Minmatar space and joined an alliance friendly to Electus Matari... life is stange |

Originally by: N'maro Makari Not being a student of Amarrian law, I had somewhat wondered if releasing a slave was a crime in the Empire. My question has evidently been answered.
To ms Valadeus I can only say stay strong.
As the transcripts indicated, Miss Valadeus is being charged with illegally acquiring a slave by impersonating a Holder and freeing the slave without the legal authority to do so.
Freeing slaves is perfectly legal, provided you are the lawful Holder of said slaves.

If Ms Sapphire Valadeus did indeed forge the will, can we assume or begin to speculate as to the motive behind the deaths of Lord Raze and Lady Victoria? Raze was my friend, as I know he was to many of you!
Was there ever an investigation carried out into the destruction of the shuttle that claimed their lives? I'm sure the young Ms Sapphire Valadeus would have had access to their hangars, and further, that if she stood to benefit from a forged will, her motives could have been more sinister in nature!
I call for an independent investigation into the cause of their deaths, that we may know the full extent of Ms Valadeus' crimes before the court sees fit to dispense justice upon her! Did anyone ever stop to ask why Sapphire wasnÆt within the shuttle with her æfamilyÆ?
Sapphire, if you caused the deaths of Raze and Victoria, I will personally see to it that a sentence of Capital Punishment is the very least you can expect!
Any information that leads me to piece together Raze and VictoriaÆs final moments will be handsomely rewarded. Rewards will only be issued following verification by salvaging and forensic services.

This is ridiculous. If you knew Sapphire at all you know she would never kill her adoptive parents.
Stop witch hunting. It is not useful, and in no way helps the law.

Do you honestly believe that I'd waste my time, or my money, conducting an investigation simply for the sake of 'witch hunting'? If Ms Valadeus was able to lie about the will, in such a cold and calculating manner, I would suggest that those who do know her well, stop to question just how well they truly know her.
If she is as innocent as you claim, at least in this matter, then she has nothing to fear from my research... Does she?

What a waste of time. Courts, recesses, threats and drama.
This galaxy doesn't need more trials, it needs more swift resolution. This could all have been handled in a minute. Crime, punishment. End of story.

Huh. And as for those convicted innocent, they could just be exonerated post-mortem and no harm no foul, right?
Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not be faint. |
