Established PIRATE alliance looking for a few good PVP pilots.
NEGATIVE TEN Alliance Main Corp: The United - ranked 7th on Battleclinic for kills Entry Corp: The Unified
Why we want you? Because you like: -filling a role in a team. -solo and small group PVP. -making isk by killing ships and taking their loot. -wearing expensive implants with minimal worry of losing them. -regularly scheduled fleets. -monthly cap ops (to dust them off) û always impromptu so donÆt worry about spies. -Empire suicide ganks. -a good ship reimbursement policy. -having alt characters to help scout or repair the team. -having as many skill points as you do (over 40 million preferably). -blasting things with T2 large guns. -playing 2 or more times per week. -participating in the alliance tournaments. -drinking beer and chatting with friends.
And you dislike: -having to roam 20 jumps to get 1 kill. -0.0 politics. -Hours and hours of shooting POSes. -Having to wait 60+ minutes for a fleet to get moving. -Excessive smack talking in local. -Drama.
NEGATIVE TEN is first and foremost a pirate group that CAMPS to make isk by killing and ransoming ships.
My first thought was that this might get pretty boring pretty fast.
I was wrong.
With NEGATIVE TEN I found a great group of mature ladies and gentlemen who know how to have a good time. This is a group that has been together for over 4 years, parties together at Fan Fest, and in game can usually be found relaxing on the gate. We have regularly scheduled ops, and the full support of NEG TEN leadership to try and do many different things. We participated in the last ALLIANCE TOURNAMENT, making it to the top 16 in EVE (we lost to Darkside and Hydra Reloaded û the top 2 teams in EVE). We host regular tournaments within the alliance to help train for these events to.
If you meet the requirements: -mature -relaxed -over 40 million skillpoints in PVP skills -several solo kills to highlight your PVP abilities
Apply: -on our forums: http://forums.bl3h-united.com/ -AND in game to our recruitment corporation (The Unified)
Or just drop by Rancer and take your chances.
Always United,
Rex Anairion Director, the Unified
PS û Recruitment is limited û weÆre only looking to add 1 or 2 new people per month so please forgive us if weÆre busy or are unable to accept your application at this time.
I think the above post says it all, but if you still have more questions you can join 'The United Channel' in game to ask away.

Edited by: Rex Anairion on 25/07/2011 11:27:48 Appreciate the guys being keen to help, but next fight take the time to switch out of the crappy ratting Apoc fit for a fleet fit rather than charging in to killmail wh@re. And this from one of our vets who can fly anything. Going to be hard to live that loss down. :)

Primarily we CAMP GATES.
But we do mix it up. Here's a 5V5 Cruiser Fight we had yesterday with our friends 2 jumps away. (We had Team 1A, B, C bookmarks etc. similar to the pre-qualifier rounds in the alliance tournament.)
NEG TEN: Rupture x4 Thorax x1
SPAM: RR Rupture x3 RR Arbitrator x1 RR Thorax x1
Anyway, they were good sports, even after a false start (one of them DC'd first thing during fight). We gave the one guy a new rupture and we restarted - we had waited some time we wanted a fight by now.
We killed all 5 and lost 0.
Daesalus: http://www.bl3h-united.com/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=204663 Maximus: http://www.bl3h-united.com/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=204666 DaKlerk: http://www.bl3h-united.com/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=204662 Calladus: http://www.bl3h-united.com/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=204664 Zlayer Moh: http://www.bl3h-united.com/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=204665
The competing pilots could point out some of the tactical errors, but everyone was a good sport.
Good fight.
Always United,

Edited by: Rook Sanderas on 04/08/2011 16:00:14 Ah, the tears. Kleenex comes free with every pod kill.
Couple hot drops last night (though he is right, we do camp gates a lot), but we do like to mix it up from time to time:
SPAM "Soon Providing Ample Missile Launchers that aren't T1" Gunmen Carebear
Both good groups actually, but as you can see, they recruit a much lower skill point level.
And when you hit 'Home' on our killboard you are looking at our WEEKLY kills. Enough said.

A few people have been asking in the United Channel if we roam. We do roam, but its a small proportion of our gaming time. But here's a copy of this week's battle report. As you can see, it's just very small scale PVP or often ganking in between drinking and camping:
Nice week, especially if you managed to be on at the right times.
Monday 19:00 ish We started off one op with a bang, rushing to catch a small fleet in Miro (instead just catching their Scorp in Otou). Always fun to try and point EWAR ships - had to bump him to stop him from warping, after getting jammed early on.
Not more than a few minutes later, after switching to shield ships, we find a 3 man Arbitrator gang that Kambiri was able to bait into a fight. Points were spread, and all 3 killed.
Icing on the cake? Killing more local reds - a former Neo-Spartan in his faction fit Rokh, and a Gunmen in his cane in Miro.
http://www.bl3h-united.com/?a=kill_related&kll_id=205025
Two nights later, in US Prime, we get an armor BC fleet coming through with 2 Onerios ready to rep it. CP jumps in the Typhoon with his slave set and hero tanks them while we come to the rescue. We almost lose Sunya in his Guardian as they switch primaries, but Martok saves the day. We push one Onerios out after switching primaries a few times (I thought they'd run right away, but kudos to them they stayed and fought well). Then we managed to down 2 of their battlecruisers before they could deagress.
http://www.bl3h-united.com/?a=kill_related&kll_id=205513
The next night was a slow start with Dragoons coming here to fight. 15 of them vs. 6 of us, but we managed to get a small fight on station. Really surprised they keep coming with such numbers and expecting anything other than blue balling. (And then THEY whine if we fight on station.) But we did grab both a SPAM drake and a Gunmen Drake later that night.
The week ended on another high note as we managed to bait and drop on an old friend, killing 2 more SPAM with another hot drop (No WIDOWS were lost in the making of this movie: *link removed to protect drunk camera mans pride*). They pretty much logged after that. Then 1 SPAM logged back in, warped to the gate in a Drake and we killed him too. Good times.

This doesn't even cover what's likely about to happen on the weekend, or the great 3-WAY fight Katie and CP had between GOONS - SPAM - NEG TEN where they killed indiscriminately until both hostile forces withdrew.
Thanks again to the members and FCs who step up to make these fights happen.

ALT Characters
One of our FCs mentioned that what is most often needed is another player with an alt scout character. INTEL is everything, and a good scout alt means the difference between killing a bait ship and getting away, or choking on it.
NEG TEN members do tend to have alts - We had 10 dreads reinforcing an enemy POS last month to dust them off and the Gunmen joked that we were all really just one player. Maybe... :)

http://bl3h-united.com/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=205832
CNR with mining lasers, cruise missile launchers, and expanded cargoholds. Very funny start to the week guys!
Ganking empire miner was fun too:

He definitely needs to fit more civilian shield boosters next time.

bump for a fantastic corp!
Before I joined The United I did the high sec thing, the wormhole thing, the null sec thing, and then back to high sec again...
and nowhere in EVE has felt like home so much as Rancer.
Don't forget, we're only 6 jumps from Jita, and 3 jumps from Hek, so unlike nullsec, shopping trips are always easy and short!

Edited by: Rex Anairion on 09/08/2011 15:41:19 YOUR CORP HISTORY & Making Your Own FUN
1) We've had about a dozen appliants and allowed 3 to join our trial corporation (the unified). Many of the other applicants were very good potentially, but despite having 50-100 million skill points some were turned away because of their CORP HISTORY. If you have been in a new corp every month don't bother to apply. You are either a spy or more likely you are looking for something you will never find. Sorry, but we don't want to waste your time or ours.
2) Of the new applicants, 2 of the 3 are clear keepers because they make their own FUN. They join in on group ops or they seek out solo kills and excitement when Rancer is quiet. We're not looking for people who need everything provided for them, including an FC 24/7 who will hold your hand. This is EVE - have fun your own way, any day.

if someone would expect that from a corp then hes defeating the point of playing eve...a sandbox is the whole point that your personal decisions should affect the overall outcome...if u let others make the decisions for u then u should go play something else...
o btw im interested just need to get back playin after like 8 months inactive >_>
