Since you're flying a Raven, a cap stable scorpion navy issues is the ship to use. Its got tons of mids to fit tank and cap mods. Not to mention you have a shield resist bonus. So you can run a cap stable heavy tank. Sure it does less dps than a CNR, but having a SNI is better than no ship.

So i guess what is the next best mission ship that is cap stable and still fast and efficient ?
tengu ? nighthawk ? rattler ? dominix ?
Don't loosen it next time. Tighten it and you won't have the same problems.

A slightly cheaper ship that can do the same is the Gila using heavy drones. I fly one for afking and half-paying-attention-to'ing missions. It does take some time to setup some rooms sometimes, killing all the webbing frigs, aggroing everything, etc. but that doesn't take long because you have a ton of drone cargo space.
A Gila will be the slowest of all mission boats listed here, but it can get the job done for not a lot of investment with relative security when you go afk. . |

Edited by: Fronkfurter McSheebleton on 03/09/2011 19:35:15 I say the rattlesnake is the best way to go. It has an absolutely huge tank for afk, and can be refit to make awesome amounts of dps when having to go afk isn't an issue. A navy dominix would also fill this role well, and be quite a bit cheaper.

I had the last post before Pink Marshmellow brought this back after a month of inactivity, I think the OP has already got his answer or has moved on by now.

Kid proof means rattlesnake. You could go AFK in a level 5 and still come back to an intact ship.
AFK tengu is gank bait.

Permatanks 558 dps + 790 kinetic dps. If you want your tank to be even more insane you can splurge for the a-type booster, another amp instead of the ab, and crystals. That bumps you up to 1286 dps versus sansha and other insane numbers versus everything else. (2500 guristas etc..)
Point being you can go afk for hours and be fine.
Nothing like going afk in a mission with 2 bill isk ship. Good job.
OP, get a dominix. Problem solved.
