I usually say no to free sp for extended downtimes.. but after all the crashes for the past few days I think something may be in order or at least an explanation on the causes and what CCP are doing about the crashes in detail.

We should sure as hell get SOMETHING from all these unexpected downtimes.
EVE is a game that rewards investment of time like NO OTHER. And that investment is getting interrupted over and over again. This is prime time for some of us to make the isk we need to plex our accounts if we can't afford the game. I'm already looking at shifting characters around in order to drop a sub or two to make plexing easier on my time... these interruptions are making that decision much easier if they keep up :(

Why should they give skillpoints for downtime, what they need to do is make their server reliable and make fix bugs.

by that time the servers were down for 3 or 4 days.. this is just a few hours each time and they wont do **** for anyone except they see they are about to lose alot of money

But they CAN sell you "convinence" items that might include skill point slots etc. Go by the fire and listen in on the wonderful things CSM has aligned for the players of EVE. *not*
Hell... might even be able to remove all ore belts and grav sites in hi/ lo sec, if they try hard enough the wormholes too! That way... all you peasants will have no choice but join an alliance and mine like little slaves for a bread crumb ever now and then.

I think CCP should invert their server model so they have 30 mintutes UPTIME, then we can all set our 30 day skills, then play a competitor game.
