Hey all,
I have been bored lately so I've been trying to throw together some unconventional fits. One thing I have wanted to do is work on a heavy gank, nano ishtar, and this is what I came up with: http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/54204-nano-pure-gank-Ishtar.html

Yeah...as with all ships, you choose what situations you engage in very carefully |

What ships are you choosing because anything you engage with a Warp Disruptor and a MWD that clocks over 1km/s is gonna have you.

I guess if you land at zero on a BS you would kill it, but not much else. |

It would have to be completely solo, no Duel Webs, no Friends with Webs or Medium Weapons, not under Gate Guns, not any Battleship that can kite you if you land off 0, duel Nuets will drain you quick even with the Booster, ECM Drones will make for a quick escape for them, smartbombs would be disaterous.

For a nano Ishtar you want a long range point. The dual webs and neut are handy for stuff that tackles you but overall you are going to have a lot of trouble finding viable engagements.
You might want to consider a Gila for this role and although, boring as it is to suggest the obvious, a Vagabond or Cynabal are much better at this job :< |

Here's my critique/comment: stick to conventional setups in the future. |

dont mess around with the Ishtar unless youre sniping from a safe distance with T2 sentries. HAC's are pretty much obsolete in the close/medium range cuz BC's have more DPS and EHP.
if you want a gank build, get a navy vexor, rack of ions, 4 garde II's, some buffer in the lows, and do ~800 dps. or brutix. |

Yeah I am starting to realize Ishtars are only good for PvE. For PvP, there is always a better choice for what you want to do. Kind of disappointing actually, it seems like Gallente really got the ass end of everything except interceptors and supercaps |
