They are intentionally lagging your servers.
As per TOS rule #16:
Originally by: Terms of Service You may not do anything that interferes with the ability of other EVE Online subscribers to enjoy the game or web site in accordance with its rules. This includes, but is not limited to, making inappropriate use of any public channels within the game and/or intentionally creating excessive latency (lag) by dumping cargo containers, corpses or other items in the game world.
I demand that all of these protesters be at least temporarily banned from your servers.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with Incarna. It runs perfectly smooth on my 4 year old machine, which was a budget build even back then. All the whining and complaining about performance is from people with 10 year old machines or crappy non-gaming builds.
I agree that Captain's Quarter should be optional, but only in the sense that when you dock you don't have to get out of your ship to drop off cargo or pick up ammo. However, it should be required that you enter the Captain's Quarters to switch ships, interact with agents, and interact with other station services.
I agree that the Micro-Transaction store is too expensive and should be reduced, but not removed as long as it only offers vanity items. I think a reasonable price would be 1 PLEX for 3-5 things. ($3-5 per item)
As long as CCP implements the features promised with Incarna/Walking in Stations, I think Incarna is a big step in the right direction for a succesful completely immersive online Science Fiction game.
If you can't say anything constructive or nice about Eve-Online and CCP, hold your tongue and cancel your subscription, we don't want you here.
I would challenge anybody who has complained about Incarna/Walking in Station to give one example of something that needs fixing, and give an honest suggestion to how it could be fixed/improved.
Not Options: - Removal of Existing Features (Incarna/Walking in Stations) - Reductions in Minimum Requirements (This would imply removing of features, if it isn't done through Optimizations.) - Faction Warfare (Admitted broke/not working as intended.) - Sov Warfare / Blobs (There will always be a limit to the hardware CCP uses, blobbers will always blob up to that limit.)

Maybe not the best thing to be posting about now.
As I work in a legal department I think if CCP was to even attempt to ban its customers for showing their feelings and freedoms CCP would be neck deep in Legal Action.
I sure hope you do have a flame vest on, I can hear the rumble of an angry community looking for someone to blame it on. Good luck

I agree with this. In fact, I believe that ban's for protesting should be handed out quite liberally. Then, after all that is said and done, CCP should release a post saying no game-breaking micro-transactions will be released, and then offer an alternative hangar view.
CCP would earn my undying loyalty.

Sure, let them ban several thousand players and then watch their salaries dwindle.

so we protest in a video game we should get banned? sooooo if we protest in real life we should just get shot? yes yes that seems fair, and before you say its not the same, how is it not i spend my money here in this world just like in the real one i should have a say and have the right to speak out against it

If you protest in real-life harms others, you will indeed be shot. (Tear Gas, Water Jets, Bean Bags, etc) Your actions are inhibiting my ability to play a perfectly working game, which I paid $15 to play. So, it is indeed harming me.

While the rest of your post simply makes me laugh - the above quote really ****es me off. It goes to show your ignorance and more importantly, your lack of empathy.
I have a gaming rig. Quad Core Phenom II processor, 1GB nVidia 460 GPU, Windows7, 4GB RAM ... yeah, and I can't run captains quarters properly. It lags, its too CPU intensive, and it's just ****.

As a player of Eve for years now, I find it amusing how someone (three months old) demands that other players be banned. You haven't played long enough to see the servers lag. Any lag is a minor inconvenience compared to having to walk around the station to get things done. But wait! Hit escape-un check load station environment-problem solved! As I have done, because I'm not here to play Barbie dress up.

You are protesting in a video game, where the rules you must agree to *before you VOLUNTARILY* join say that you are not allowed to protest? Yes, you should be banned. Maybe not exactly 'right', but definitely deserved.
If you protest in real life, in a country where the rules say that if you protest you get shot? Yeah, you should be shot. It's against the rules. Definitely not what I consider right, but since 'voluntary' and country of orgin don't always mix, it's still a much different topic.
You spend your money to play THEIR world, by their rules. We both do. If we don't like it, our option is to leave.
THAT is why I agree with the Op. CCP owns EvE. We're renting fun time.
On top of this, if they were actually to bend due to our cry-baby tantrums, the precedent this would set would kill EvE faster than you think. What happens the next time an extremely popular but obviously overpowered ship needs to be nerfed?

Hai, I have a Intel Core i7 1.6GHz processor, ATI Radeon Mobility HD 5870, Windows 7 Ultimate and 6GB RAM... works perfectly (or atleast with 20-30FPS, which is okay), no clue about CPU consumption but my laptop have yet to burn my knees (a sure sign it's not overheating) and overall I like it :)
And no, I don't have empathy with 99% of the people who're hating/whining (apparently includes you).
Other than that, I agree with the OP.

I'm an obvious forum alt...search my contract history in-game and you'll see my main, which I've played for over two years. I was a part of Majesta Empire, so bull-**** that I wouldn't see the servers lag. But that is not CCP's fault, but that of the former NC and Drone Russians for not spreading their forces out among many objectives, instead of one at a time. "OMG The server is lagging so bad, and there are titans on field, hurry, bring in more HICs!!!"
As for the "barbie dress up" comment, it's a horrible comparison to Walking in Stations. Yes, the ability to see your avatar is the only new feature in Incarna 1.0; however, this is only the first iteration of the technology. It will become more useful and important in the future. As long as CCP keeps with their promise.

Yep.
Just like if you are suspended from school, it counts as an inexcused absence. (At least in my old schools) Get suspended enough, and you automatically fail for the semester/year.

No, your video game protest that's sitting around spamming forums and local chat channels is slowing down our traffic.
I mean, isn't there some type of old saying about a pot, a kettle, and some racist comments that fit in here?
CCP didn't say that killing her ship was against the rules. It did say that protesting was

Please do read the TOS 14 part, it really does explain that slowing down traffic on purpose in EVE is a harmful thing :)
Ganking on the other hand, is allowed. Your rather poor argument just broke down :l

If CCP ban people they should ban agitators.
