I'm running into a graphical issue with the new Incarna release.
System, HP Pavilion dv7 w/Radeon HD 6570M
Depending on my shader quality setting I get different result.
Shader Quality: Low Intro screen and space look fine.
CQ floors and random objects are transparent or translucent. Performance is terrible.
Shader Quality: High Intro screen looks all jacked up. All 3d scenes are black, fonts look chunky and are unreadable.
CQ looks great, and runs at 60FPS.
Space is all black, no stars, no ship, no interface, except overview and other windows. Brackets smear as you move the camera around.
So, I get one or the other, depending on shader settings.
I installed latest drivers from AMD. They did not change behavior.

I have the same problem as you about transparent floor in the CQ, and this even put a problem as there is small piece of floor between the dock, and the QC (where there is an opened door).
As this piece is missing, my char go down like 20 cm at the door placement, and get stuck.
nVidia ATI 8800 GT with updated drivers (May 2011 version).
I've tried tons of graphics settings, and i have the problem each time.
I even checked if Anti Aliasing is set to be controlled by application in nVidia control panel.

For me this is directly related to the "shader quality" setting.
With it on high my CQ works. With it on low space works.
For now, I disabled CQ so I can fly. --- Good...bad, I'm the guy with the gun. |

Absolutely indentical problem here Invisible floors in CQ with low shader quality, but can see things in space. If i set it to High shader quality everything in CQ seems fine but I can no longer see anything but the white icons for stations and stargates. Running an ATI Radeon HD 4870 card and have tried this on the 2 most recent drvers issued by ATI/AMD, under windows 7 64 bit. I have tried changing loads of graphics settings to no avail Anyone have any suggestions how to fix this please ?

Apologies for replying to my own post, however I am merely posting to share the course of action that fixed this issue for me, in the hope that it may help others.
I have found that I must tick the box in my CCC to allow using application settings for Anti-Aliasing, then the floors return and space returns.
Hope this helps
