Cruiser: Curse. That black arbitrator with bright blue neut streaks and the subtle blue hue of the invuln is just sexy as hell. It's also the single best solo pvp ship in the game, so that helps too.
BS: Maelstrom. It may die alot, but for ever time it dies it find 30 guys who horribly underestimate it. It also looks cool and 800mm AC's sound pretty nice as well.

Cruiser: Navy Caracal (AML setup makes this one of the best frigate & cruiser killers in the game) Legion (Looks alright IMO, plus the lasers do a shocking amount of damage)
Battleship: Scorpion Navy Issue (looks great, great tank, plenty of room for EWAR, plus a secret way to increase DPS I won't mention here) Nightmare (looks evil, pretty pulse lasers)

Cruisers: Rook, it's a good gang ship as well as a tough solo ship. Moa, it's where I started =) Thorax, I haven't actually used it, but the fittings I see always look tough.
Battlecruisers: Drake, it works for almost everything. Myrmidon, the king of solo in my opinion.
Battleships: Scorpion, obviously helpful for fleets (glorious ranged ECM), but it can also use those midslots to fit a really really fun active rep tank.
Also, I'll be using the Sac soon because it'll have a really sexy hull coming with Incarna.

Cruiser: Rupture - most versatile Cynabal - faster than most frigs
Battleship: Machariel - DPS Machine, Awesome range with AC's, versatile (shield tank, armor tank, sniper, Heavy DPS) Widow - black and red scorp what isn't to love.

Cruiser: Arbitrator It's just a fun lovin ship. It's pretty easy to get into and working, and later with skills, it's actually a cheap worthy fun Tech1 PvP-Cruiser.
Battleships: Armageddon / Bumpageddon(TM) Big flying stick, with lasers. It might not be the violence boat it once was. But hey, it still got style - It's more MANLY than the Thorax ever will be!
Fly safe! --- Enjoy, and fly safe.. |

Cruisers: Scimitar, Broadsword
Battleships: Idk, don't have any reason to fly battleships. Purely based on looks I would say Scorp (Widow)and the Dukes' gun (Rokh).

Cruisers: Well, one of my characters just started flying a Tengu, and the thing is, it changes how it looks depending on subsystems. That's just ridiculously awesome, despite the immediate temptation I had to fit it according to what looked best rather than what suited my purposes. And now I want to fly ALL the T3 ships.
If you're after T1-specific: I'm suddenly shocked and ashamed to admit this, but the *only* T1 cruiser I've flown much is the Vexor. I do love it though.
Battleships: Again, I've only spent much time actually flying around in one: the Dominix. But I love that too. It's just a big floating brick.

And that's sort of a shame because the best looking tengu is also the most useless. In the preview mode, set up those subsystems and have a look: Electronics: CPU gate, Engineering: Power Core, Offensive: Magnetic Infusion, Defensive: adaptive shielding and Propulsion: nanofibers
