Got a question about being jammed in PvE missioning. Every once in a while, I a mission that has jammers in it. What are the countermeasures/modules I should use to avoid getting jammed? I can tank everything ok but just hate getting delayed during the mission because I can't shoot anything until the jammer ship stops jamming.to do L3 missions in Amarr space
Been using a Tengu to do L3 missions in Amarr space. I think I am overtanked so I can drop a modu or 2 to fit something to avoid getting jammed. What mods would I use?
I have looked on google but there is just so much information overload I cant find what I'm looking for. I remember seeing a player written guide on the forums a while back but can't find it anymore and don't have the link.
Thanks

Your sensor strength is what you need to be worried about, the higher it is, the harder it is to jam you. ECCM modules in the mid-slots and Sensor Backup Arrays in the lows are what you use to increase it. In the case of the tengu, you have gravimetric sensors (you can find this out in EFT or under the attributes tab of the ship in-game), so you want modules like Gravimetric Backup Array II and ECCM - Gravimetric II. There's also a subsystem that increases sensor strength, if you aren't already using it.
I don't know the hard numbers offhand, but you can never reach 100% immunity to jammers, so more is better, within reason. Aim for the ECCMs before the Backup Arrays if you have the choice, they're much more effective.

Well Raven is too much ship for L3 missions and its abundance of frigs dessies and cruisers. Can't fly (and don't want fly) other t3 ships. Drake is too boring so I would say, for my intent and purposes, I'm doing it right for me. Thanks for your opinion though. Much appreciated.
@Saile Thanks for the input as well. I'll experiment with those mods. See what they can do for me. Have to add some skills to my training queue. Appreciate it.

Tengu is among the best if not the best level 3 mission runner there is. Nothing wrong there.
As for the modules, ECCM is what you're after, and everything he said above is right. I would however like to point out that conjunctive(one of the meta 4's) is superior to the t2 one in nearly every way(and ties for the rest). Before you start looking at them, I'd make sure you fit a dissolution sequencer subsystem(electronics), which will greatly improve your sensor strength with decent skills. There are also a bunch of implants that can help you quite alot, the Talon set. However, before you invest to much in them(Well they're sort of cheap but still) you probably want to make sure the bug where they wouldn't work while using the dissolution sequencer subsystem is fixed.(It used to make ECCM only apply to the implants not the base ship strength) Parrots, commence!

I think he was referencing the "in Amarr space" part, since you have to give up the damage bonus (kinetic) to kill things effectively, that being a high resist for most of the enemies.
I mean, it'll still work, but it's probably non-ideal. Probably one of the Amarr-ish pirate faction boats would have better output/defense balance in that situation due to favored damage types, though that's an off-the-cuff guess. ---

By jammed you mean ECM so yes even dev's think those are "too much", hell even 3 guristas belt rats can perma jamm you it's ridiculous. Serpentis cruisers/BS's can perma damp you either but less stronger than guristas ones.
The only thing you can do is upgrade your sensor strgh or set your drones aggressive, usually they attack those jamers but also may mean full pocket agro or give aggression to some blinky no balls high sec grieffer.
The best solution would be to bring your alt in the same pocket and use link sensor upgrades or just shoot them with, bring some friends, some noob. You have tons of options.
