(Background: Not played for just over a year. Tended to grind Level 4s against mainly Sansha so was using a Paladin/Nightmare)
A month or so before I left I started using a Kronos and enjoyed grinding the Level 4s; it was a bit different and almost as quick as the Paladin/Nightmare. Now I've come back and was thinking of getting one again - I'd sold that in favour of getting both the Paladin and Nightmare for dual boxing. This has raised a few questions:
- Is the Kronos still good at level 4s, or have there been nerfs whilst I have been away. - I can't remember the setup I used to use, had a feeling it was autocannons that still hit a fair way out. Any suggestions on setup would be greatly appreciated.

If you can fly a nightmare or paladin, do. Its better for missions in almost every way, because rails and blasters.

Yeah, you're right that the Paladin/Nightmare is quicker, and I'm keeping these ships, but for a bit of variety I was thinking of rolling out the Vargur every now and then.

It's still good. NM is better for amar rats, but the gap is actually not big. Might as well stick with Vargur/Mach for all. Paladin has fitting issues and less than optimal slot layout for armor mission running.

I never had issues fitting the paladin for missiong running :p 3 damage mods, 4 tank mods, 2 tracking/cap mods (or AB instead of tracking) and tachyons/pulse. What is the layout issue here?

This and I'm also curious about layout issue.
edit: To the OP , Vargur is still great ship although I use it now strictly against Angels in Amarr space , used to run against Guristas too but now it is not possible so I just decline.
