Do agents have the same mission pools after the patch? I have run 2 missions so far for a level 4 security division agent. This agent was previously in the legal division. The first mission was the basic courier mission "Silly Miners". The second mission was the normal kill mission "Smuggler Interception". I guess I should read the patch notes again. |

Was the first mission an old one you pulled before the patch, or newly pulled?

It was a newly pulled mission. My journal has been empty for a few days. I was waiting for the patch before running a mission again.
The previous mission before the patch was UMP. I completed that mission several days ago.
I hope my storyline agent has the same mission pool. I guess we'll know more in a few weeks. |

I suspect that Silly Miners was already in your journal prior to the patch. Unless you've declined a mission, which clears the journal, the next mission is pre-decided on the journal, even if you don't speak to the agent.

I don't think this is correct except for multi-part missions. I have 50+ agents that I have never declined on. I doubt they are all holding a pre-decided mission from their different mission pools.
My journal was empty. I always open the journal before starting a mission. I would always decline a courier mission if I was going to log off anyways. I would not let a low value courier mission just sit waiting in the journal for several days especially not around patch time.
I was just curious if anyone else had any kill missions for distribution agents or courier missions for security agents.
I had another courier mission for my Security agent. It was EA2 though so it doesn't count. |

If you really think something is wrong, you should bug report it, not start a thread.
Thanks.

Did you ask your agent for another mission, without accepting, after running UMP, and then cleared that from your journal? In which case you'd get it again.
It is of course possible that CCP goofed, but only one courier mission isn't proof, especially when it was the first one. If people keep running into distribution missions from security agents regularly, then we can talk. As it is, you're jumping the gun here.

I'll repeat that I was just curious if anyone else had seen any old mission pool behavior. No, I don't want to file a petition as I don't mind the old mission pool behavior. I don't mind the changes either.
I would consider the "Silly Miners" mission a "feature". It might be cool to know about that secret security agent that will offer a courier mission every now and then. |

Thanks.
It's more entertaining to make a ****-up public.

I've only heard of isolated cases in the various chat channels. Always it seems to be the first mission people get, so chances are it's the one from before the patch. As for myself, I've run some fifty-something security agent missions after the patch and so far no couriers.

I just received a courier mission on my usual Security storyline agent.
Wondering if the Storyline agents are immune to the new system.
Strange thing is, she was supposed to be Security all along, and I got more mining and courier missions out of her every 16 missions more than anything.
