I downloaded the Singularity Installer, but as it turns out, it was actually just an installer for another Tranquility Client. And the worst part is I couldn't change the server that it connected to in any way, not even going into "My Computer" and right clicking on the EXE and selecting "Properties"
I also want to see a seperate Splash Page and Icon for Singularity. It can be as much as edited text or even just an icon or some other indication that it is the Test Client. ________________________________________________
I swear, on most forums these days, the people who have been on for long periods of times are usually idiots, except for those in charge |

Yeah, it happens pretty much every time there's a patch released on TQ.
http://games.chruker.dk/eve_online/server_status.php http://zofu.no-ip.de/versions.html
Learn to use these... if the version on Sisi matches the TQ version, guess what? It's running the same version, just delete the files out of your Sisi folder and copy the files from your TQ install into there. Done, no need to download anything.

Next time before downloading the entire client just copy your main folder over again, and let it update from that.
Also http://games.chruker.dk/eve_online/server_status.php will let you know current builds running

Why don't you just run a SisiLauncher and let it repair your client in place? Feel good being different, I suppose? Then why you complaining? -- Thanks CCP for cu |

We tend to have the release build (or a version similar to it) on SiSi before we release to TQ. If you go on SiSi on or close to release day, then you will indeed have the same build on both servers until SiSi is changed.

You need to create a shortcut to that exe, then edit properties of that exe.

Would normally not bother replying, but going bwahahahahha towards the OP.
The person that is the one that recommended soldering a thumb drive to your HDD for extra cache.
Do you not grasp the fact that sometimes the SISI installers cross paths with the TQ patches!?!
When CCP have done the testing on SISI, to the stage that it is ready for production mebe?

It's done this way on purpose.
You probably won't give very good feedback on Sisi if you can't follow the directions on how to connect to Sisi so this is a control gate to limit useless feedback.
It isn't perfect but it does work, apparently.
