So you can use the flamethrower on the drawbridge then seal up the house and stop the FBI from getting in because you have a very illegal weapon

Pretty sure flame throwers aren't outlawed (depends on the state of course). I've seen them used privately for brush clearing.

Flamethrowers (the weapons) shoot out a sticky gel and set it on fire, those are illegal on the federal level for obvious reasons

Not if you have a class 2 weapons license. It cost $3000 a year to have and you can deal, own, and manufacture destructive weapons. Really any weapons if you have that permit.
Edit: and actually flamethrowers are not regulated by the federal government on some states have laws against them, but 40 states do not so flamethrower it up.

As far as I know they're unregulated on the federal level. If you can point to a law that says otherwise, do let me know. If you can't find anything, I'll call the local FBI office and ask. I've asked them more suspicious questions in the past. (I often have to ship firearms and ammution around and sometimes have questions - I don't just call for no reason )

Oh come now, you can build your own flamethrower for a couple of hundred bucks, has much nicer range/fuel supply and a lot easier to use
Also supersoakers melt, the petrol eats away at the insides like it does with polystyrene foam heh

That house requires electricity to power the drawbridge (no way that can be done manually look how heavy it is) and moveable walls. Therefore it would fail.

Yes ofc, because if you were concerned about a zombie apocalypse you certainly wouldn't bother installing solar panels over every inch of available concrete. You also wouldn't consider geothermal power, wind turbines, or a simple diesel generator with a stockpile of fuel

I'd go with flamethrower nests tbh, assuming I could loot a petrol tanker or smth to keep em fuelled
There's a few advantages of a fixed flammethrower vs a fixed machinegun
You can kill the zombies and incinerate the bodies, this prevents you accidently creating a huge pile of zombie bodies in front of a wall, enabling them to climb over and siege your house :p
You can much easier eradicate a large group of zombies. I'd imagine that raking a line of zombies with an MG would result in a few kills and a ****load of body/leg/arm hits. Means you have to rake back and forth a few times, wasting lots of ammo. With the flamethrower you just rake once, liberally dousing those nasty undead with white-hot napalm. Then you sit back and enjoy the bbq
You can 'tag' or mark individual zombies at night, lighting em up makes em easier to see so that your marksman can take their heads off
You can create a barrier of fire with it by dousing the ground, very handy for preventing flank attacks by zombie hordes :D See this pic for a reason of why you'd want a flamethrower emplacement on each edge of your zombie-proof house

Personally I think fire might be the worst way to try and deal with them (exhibit A )
A good ol' Browning M2 would probably be the best option as it will rip things apart

haha nice link :D That guy obviously didn't use enough fire. Fire works, you just need lots and lots of fire. I mean, you're going to burn the bodies after you shoot them yeh? Why not just cut out the shooting bit and burn the bodies where they stand? :D
And obv I'm talking about a fixed weapon from some sort of fortress, flamethrower is probs the last thing you want as a running around weapon. You can block off your own escape route, burn yourself, get eaten by flaming zombies, and the fuel/weapon is heavy and cumbersome.
I figure if you're out of reach of the zombies anyway, fire is definitely the weapon of choice. No mess, no fuss, looks ****ing cool

As well as a zombie sanctuary that house looks really nice. I like wedgie architecture.
As for zombie killing I would get an old tank with spikes on the front and spend all day running over dem zombies. Or like this:-
Flail them to pieces.
